Hey All, I have been having an issue with my apple watch since I got it back in June, After 4 months of working with apple Tech Support and going as far as talking to Apple Corporate Executive Relations for the past nine weeks. I know have an Apple watch that no longer works, My apple TV's ( two of them ) will not talk to my Imac, and I can't have a group conversation with Imessage on my Iphone 6. I lost a bunch of data from My iphone because I had to do a factory reset of my phone and the backup was lost on my computer ( was working with tech support the night before where they loged into my computer and grabbed data from phone. IPhoto and started acting up tripling data. I lost years of pdf's.
All this because Sketch was not working on the watch when I got it and Tech support keeps changing settings and now nothing works (they did how ever fix Sketch). If anyone else is had any problems with Corporate Level did you get it corrected and who did you talk to? I being told there is no one else to contact at Apple.
Thanks in advance

All I got from this is that your Apple watch doesn't work. Did Apple replace it?

Everything else that happened has nothing to do with the Apple watch and you are responsible for your own backups.

Apple replaced the watch after the first week and its still happening, And my phone was backed up to my computer until Apple went into my computer and downloaded programs and ran some test on my Phone, The next morning my phone locked up and when I went to restore the phone was no longer in my iTunes and my backup could not be found. I have been in contact with them dozens of times and every time they adjust settings I loose another device, They see it happening they just don't know why or how to fix it. It all started with my watch sending messages out using a different phone number. There is a software issue with my ios devices talking to each other and they can't pinpoint the problem.
They ran more test last week and can see ios problems with my items and they told my they should be fixed with ios9, but they are still there. As far as the watch stands I preordered on 4/10 at 1am like I'm sure most of the watch owners did and to date it still does not work ( sitting in a drawer at home ).
I understand I need to backup but had no clue they (tec support) removed my device from ITunes, I will also say none of the devices I talked about are a year old yet!

Everything that happened started from the watch. It was trial and error with my problem from the start, They tried and I got errors (alot of them)

not buying a lot of what OP's selling
Not selling anything, more less just looking for someone at Apple to reach out to. Up to a couple months ago I had an outstanding Apple system running through my house! As of now it's horrible. All I ever asked for in this thread was for a contact, if your system works than great I know what it's like but I have to believe someone out there has had something along these lines happen. I have dozens of emails and dozens of hours on the phone with them. Apple is still working on this just fed up with how long it's been taking. I got another call from them today and they still have no answers!

It sounds to me like you share an Apple I.D. with another family member. This created havoc with our watches sketch feature and whatnot, so my wife got her own I.D. that is linked to mine in a family plan, and now everything works.

Thanks, that's what we thought, we share a family account but all have different id's we went through all my family divides and even went as far as turning off home sharing. It's only happening on my id. There was a point when I was receiving text messages ment for my wife on my watch and not my phone, but that only happened one day until they got that fixed

Another thing to do is go into delete all of your iPhone texts with the people on your family account (at your own risk,) turn messaging off and then back on in "iMessage" under "Settings", and make sure that your phone number, not email address, is selected in the "Start New Conversations From" section.

We had a real mess with this, too, but it's finally sorted and everything works.

i will try this, any advice on how to get my Apple TV to AirPlay again? I was on the phone with Apple for 2-1/2 hours last week and they haven't got back to me yet. They found issues with software but not sure what yet! I miss my AirPlay

If you're the only one with a watch, I'm not sure if the above would help, so you may not want to delete your conversations and try, unless it isn't a big deal to you.

Not sure about the Apple TV thing. What a mess.

Yes a mess, and frustrating that There are no answers from Apple yet, Tuesday night I was on the phone until 11:45 pm trying to fix this. Apple tells me that they don't have an imideate answer that I'm looking for but I feel 4 months is far from imideate. The watch has already lost the got to have it luster for me. im sure it's a wonderful device but I personally have built up a lot of hatred on this product

You may just try ignoring the sketch thingy on the watch. It isn't that big of a deal.

Change your apple ID's Password. (Not the ID, just the password. That will deregister all devices associated with your ID. Once you log back in on everything with your new PW all should work again. The watch you turned in for replacement is still trying to find your ID/PW combination. Sorry about your backup, that's why I always save another copy somewhere else.

I gave up on the watch weeks ago it's been disconnected and removed from all my devices. It collecting dust at this point. And I agree sketch was ok at best I only know one other person with a watch anyway

thanks I think, I've been drinking the juice for years
Sounds like an extreme case of "user error".
i couldn't agree more, the only problem being Apple was the only user throughout all of this was Apple, the only changes made were the from the direction of Apple!

Apple remote into your PC to fix things? Can they do that? Sweet.
If by pc we are talking personal computer not sure they use iCloud username and security questions that you used to set up iCloud, than they share screen with you. They control a blue pointer and walk you through steps to perform. So it works on IMac I doubt it works on Windows

You're having so many apparent problems with so many different things that it's going to be very hard for anyone to help without being right in front of your equipment. You should find a friend or someone local and trustworthy who can help you in-person.

Many if not all of the problems (like inability to family share and AirPlay) sound like misconfigured iCloud ID settings spread across multiple devices. I suggest going through and reconfiguring everything very carefully, before attempting to use any of those features. Again, if you don't know how or are the least bit unsure, you need to find someone to do it for you in person.

Changing one thing at a time then testing stuff out, like someone over the phone would have you do, is a recipe for disaster. Apple tech support is no doubt trying to help, but you've got too many moving parts here to effectively do it remotely.

Thanks, before I went through with that route I didn't want to do anything to my system without Apples direction. everything worked great until I installed the watch, Apple support has found software issues but have not come up with answers yet.
Since day one tech support finds an issue and than I never hear back happened with at least 6 reps and 3 of which were sent to me from the corporate level ( have all their names, direct e-mail and phone numbers). I assume they are some of the best that Apple has to offer.
I feel like it's been a lot of smoke and mirrors, that the main problem I'm having with Corporate Executive Relations is she keeps switching techs and than we have to start over ( ok I understand that ) but than 4 months latter we are back at square one and the tell me this can't be fixed in an instant, I've spent at least 50 hrs on the phone and computer with them and dozens of emails. Far from an instant. They have found problems but waiting on answers! Sounds like something really bad happened and they are confused on where to take it! Read earlier post others have had issues with this and seeing the delay in the release watch os2, is a little strange. The watch has bugs, not for everyone or every setup but it has its flaws, and to me the flaws far out weigh it's uses.

Yeah I meant Mac. That's awesome! What service. Did it cost anything? To be honest, if I had a crappy app that didn't work I'd probably just uninstall it and move on. But that's just me.
