You’ve been able to buy sports straps separately, so basically, just a Nike watch face or two? Cool, but I don’t think that’s worth the extra few weeks of waiting.Well if I was going to get an aluminium version, I would get the Nike... Identical watch case, but great sports straps and more options for the watch faces..
I’m a runner and I prefer the Workout App. It’s great.I’ve had two generations of the Nike edition, but went with the regular Sport one this year. I’ve still got my old Nike straps. I don’t think the Nike faces are a draw unless you use the Nike running app — as you’re stuck with the non-changeable Nike complication. I’ve tried more than once to love the Nike app, but keep on coming back to the built-in Workout app, which is now better than ever for running with the new Watch OS.
How’s that work?
I would think Apple doesn't have much use for random peoples' grubby, worn wristbands...Does anyone know if they want the band and charging adapter with the Apple GiveBack Trade in Offer or just the watch?
Me personally? I like the aluminium look, and now with the ceramic back I get a more premium feel than my old OG alu watch with its plastic back. And the sport loop with reflective thread, which can't be had any other way - right now anyway. Especially as I don't own any sport loop bands yet. And also, it costs exactly the same as the regular alu watch too, so instead of why would I it's more like why wouldn't I.Why would anyone buy this in the first place??
Because those watch faces are useless to me. I like faces that have way more functionality. Why would I wait for those watch faces? And I prefer adidas and asics over Nike...and I’m not a brand name kinda gal.
What kind of running do you do? This would be my first watch and I was waiting for the Nike because all the reviews say it's better for runners.
I'd be running 2-6 miles with the occasional 10 mile run.
Nike usually has 20% or 25% off sale coupons...but I think the series 4 will qualify for Nike’s coupon in a few months.
I bought the Series 3 with a 25% off coupon back in April/May.
Does anyone know if nike is getting a cut from sales or these watches? Seems odd to limit the Nike watch face and band selection to this particular line.
Can someone please explain how you get these coupons?
