Just ordered mine via the Apple Store app on the iPhone. That worked. The online store still does not.

Web is not up yet in Aus.

I notice all retina MacBooks ship in 3-4 weeks.

Got mine through Apple Store App, took me a little longer cause I had to change the credit card (old one and forgot ), says Available to ship: 4 - 6 weeks, but Delivers: May 13 - May 27 by Standard Shipping.

D'oh.

Ordered via the iPhone app, as always seems to be a much better experience than the web site (which is still showing as down for me here in the UK). 42mm with Milanese loop, delivery between 24/4 and 8/5... which is a bit worrying as I'm out of the country for the last few days of that window. Ah well, fingers crossed.

Edit And just got the confirmation through. That bit at least has improved, I'm used to it being hours before that shows up and worrying over whether it went through or not! Oh and before I forget thank you oh gods of MasterCard for not blocking my card this time round!

Pre-ordered a 42mm sport through the app (UK website still showing as down for me). Was originally planning on going for the stainless steel with the blue leather loop, but last minute sense set in and decided as it was a 1.0 going for the cheaper option made more sense, plus the steel was showing much longer lead times (4-6 weeks). Actually just saw the blue leather loop on its own is showing lead time of 2-4 weeks so ordered that too as reckon it will look quite nice with the sport.

Wow, Space Grey 42mm did not last! Store didn't go up on my Mac. Had to use the app, and had to get Silver one with green band. Couldn't wait 4 weeks.

It's available through the Apple mobile app. But, my order I just placed for the 42 mm black sport watch/band combo says 4-6 weeks!

That's awful for such a quick preorder. I was refreshing the Site & App as a freak and was able to order at 9:02 - for me the same model delivers between 24/4–8/5.

Like 3-4 minutes later without even the web store online it slipped to 4-6 weeks. That's quite a bummer.

Ordered at 12:05am PDT through the app and already at 4-6 weeks shipping. That's wholly annoying. Really asinine of Apple to do such a wide launch with such a constrained stock. Real big buzzkill.
