I got two of them ordered by 12:04 using the iPad app. Had to do two separate orders. They both said delivery between April 24th and May 8th. Hope it works as smoothly for everyone else.
 
Ordered mine through the Apple Store app on the iPhone. Easy apple launch purchase I've ever made in the last 5 years with Apply pay right on the app.
 
The Apple Store App absolutely demolished the website, mine worked straight away, ordered in about 20 seconds (Had it favorited), email confirmation at 5:02PM (Australia)
 
Quick and easy via the iPhone Store app but Apple Store still shows down in my browser. Just can't believe 4-6 weeks to get it?!?! Ordered Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Link Bracelet.
 
The app worked like a charm to order mine. Easiest pre-order ever. I guess because no phone carriers were involved. lol.

I'm in Australia, and I used the iPhone app at 5:01. No problems. The website is still down for me though.
 
Just got 2

Got the 38mm sport white band (april 24th) and the 42mm space grey (mid may). Back to bed.
 
order placed in SF

Site was down..but worked in the Apple Store app. Placed my order through my phone and completed my order by 12:05 am (in San Francisco). Delivers 4/24 - 5/8

SO EXCITED
 
So what Apple meant by "We expect demand to exceed supply" was actually "de don't actually have any bloody watches".

Ordering 1 minute after the app goes up, before the website is up, shouldn't result in a 2 week wait.

I had the same delivery dates and had to do the same thing. Forced payment once you clicked on one to buy, instead of a shopping cart to add more. Irregardless, got 2 stainless steel with sports bands (white & black) with the same delivery dates.
 
In the sport models, only the 38mm silver with the white band is shipping right away. The rest are 4-6 weeks.
