Everything? Even links? I though watches with link bracelets were still delayed.
The sport bands are in the floor but the other bands aren't. You have to ask them because they have them in the back and the stock is limited.

i picked up a SS Link at about 1:00 PM today in the Short Hills Mall in NJ. The young man said I had the first SS Link that they sold. I should of inquired of the bands, but I ran out out of there before my  lust elevated. I made it out of there with just adding Apple care and an extra charging cable.

Collected my 38mm Sport space grey this evening at Trafford Centre Manchester. Had the in-store setup whilst my wife tried on a white Sport 38mm - hers is arriving in the post next Monday.

Looks like the online reservation system doesn't work after 6pm on any given day. Prompted to come back after 6am tomorrow. Tried doing a reservation to collect this evening via the phone but it wasn't to be.

Made up with the watch though, especially pleased to see it honouring my iPhones Do Not Disturb scheduled quiet hours (10pm-7am unless from whitelisted contact numbers) without having to be asked. It's little things like this that make me appreciate Apple's attention to the small things.

I'll confirm that links in SS are available at some stores. I just left the Aventura, FL store and they were indeed in stock.

I picked up a SS Classic Leather Buckle 42 today at 10:15am, then went back to the store around 5pm and picked up a green sport band for workouts. There were links still available. I almost bought one, but for now I'm good.

Everything you did on your Apple Watch can be done easier & more through/options on the iPhone.
Um, yes. And your point is? The difference isn't that I can do things on my watch that I can't do on my phone. The difference is that my watch doesn't preoccupy me like my phone (see that family over there staring at their phones over dinner rather than talking to each other? Imagine if they had watches instead and their phones were kept in their pockets. The watches don't distract like the phones do).

Oh, and the other different is that I can do almost all those things with hands free and/or not dropping the watch as I sometimes did the phone.

That's all. The watch is a luxury convenience. I fully admit that. I happen to like that luxury convenience more than I like the luxury convenience of the phone. If it doesn't appeal to you and you'd rather keep using the phone, then it doesn't appeal to you and you'll keep using the phone. Did you have anything worth saying besides that?

I've found I don't even need to lift my arm, as long as I'm in a relatively quiet place like home or my office. I've talked while moving around my house doing other things, or at my desk with my arm resting at the keyboard. If the place I'm at is noisy however, like a restaurant, then yes you need to go into Dick Tracy mode. ;)
Cool! I might try to make more phone calls on it if I don't have to hold up my arm to do so. That would be really useful to not have to hold a phone up to my ear or have headphones plugged into it. Just talk while continuing what I'm doing.

I even use the map directions sometimes - on a motorbike it's easier to glance at your wrist than pull out your phone!
Could you use the directions feature where it taps you to tell you to turn? I did that while walking and it was a lot of fun. Each time I was supposed to turn right or left to get to my destination it gave me a certain number of taps and I turned. Didn't have to look at my watch at all during that walk; I just enjoyed the scenery and at the end, I was at my destination.

:)

Buyers remorse makes you say strange things to justify the expense.
 Yeah, and sour grapes make posters like you convince yourself that you don't want what you really want, and neither does anyone else who says they're liking it.

I love this watch and I use it more than I ever used my phone. I've felt buyers remorse for other things, but not one tiny drop for this watch. If I had, then, hey, it would have been easy enough to return it and get my money back or sell it to someone else.

But no way am I going to do that. This watch is proving to be worth every penny and one of the best Apple purchases I've ever made.

No line in Albany, NY. Exchanged the 38mm SS with BSB (UPS had just delivered it an hour previous) for a 42mm SS BSB. I like it a lot more than the 38mm. Although its not 'that' much bigger, it seems much easier to read and use.

Was lucky enough to get a 42mm space gray sport in store today. Initially it was OOS but I waited around and eventually 1 came back in stock and I was checked out immediately. Loving the styling so far!

Had a Pebble, went with a Watch, and after living with it for a couple of weeks, am glad I made the purchase. Does everything the Pebble did, and more, and is a pleasure to use and to look at. Function + Form. Well worth the price, at least to me.
Good to hear they're available in stores, finally, as that could be taken as a sign that production problems have been ironed out.

So if a watch is not available for reservation today at local Apple Store does that mean they have run out of reservation times? Or does that mean they are out of stock on the watch? Basically trying to decide if I should wait until tomorrow morning to try for a reservation - or if I should just buy online and wait the two weeks.

Based on my experience yesterday, they don't take reservations after 6pm. Instead you're prompted to try again after 6am the following day.

The reservation slots themselves are not limited; stock levels of individual watch models is. I suspect the reservation time slots are to smooth out traffic in the stores, to stop everyone arriving at once and expecting quick service and personal setup.

If a particular store doesn't have stock of a specific model Im fairly sure the reservation system will tell you so.
