Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

I've already got my watch but the white sports band I ordered a few days after the 10th is still processing. I just had an email from Apple saying they expect it to dispatch in the next 2-3 weeks. So the bands seem to be in just as short a supply as the actual watches???!!!

Card charged 5 minutes ago and status just changed to preparing to dispatch
 
42mm SG Sport went to Preparing for Shipment today and CC has been charged. No shipping info yet, but I have movement finally.
 
Ordered my 38mm aluminum space gray with bsb on 4/10 with confirmation email at 5:53 am eastern time. Just shipped for Tuesday delivery!

I'm praying I see movement this week.

Order Date: April 26
Delivery Window: May 21 - June 4
Location: NC, USA
 
No movement here yet. Still slated for June 01-12 delivery. I'm hoping by the end of this week or beginning of next, I see some movement in my bank account.
Space Gray AWS 38mm ordered in Colorado Springs CO April 27.
 
Okay. It seems like it's preparing for shipment! My card was charged now that I checked and finally movement.
Ordered SG BSB 38mm April 27th so it should be here by Monday I hope? ###⌚️

i don't think you have to fear it though. Give it time, it will sort itself out. I'm sure of it.

So the watch arrived but with no second half band.#
Now I have to return it and it'll be at the very least 2 weeks before I can get the replacement with all the bands back.
How many half bands did yours come with?

Before you return it, call around and try to find a store that has bands in stock and take it there and tell them what happened. They will probably just give you a new band. If you can't find one local, call Apple and have them send you a band. That will be faster than returning this and waiting for a new watch.

I called my store at Briargate and they said they don't have any in store. Apple Customer Care sent me a label to my email to return it since they won't send just the band. To get the band I have to get it with the watch so it's going back. It's unfair that I have to decide on either keeping a watch or not because I didn't get the remaining half band I was supposed to get.
I even looked at in boxing videos to see if I was missing something but I'm not. Heck I tore apart the white box in which the watch came but no luck.#
