Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

At least you got charged and have a "Preparing for shipping", some of us are still waiting to see that money be so gracefully taken away from our bank accounts to have some kind of hope that we are not forgotten.
UPS/Fedex Tracking by Reference
There will not be a tracking number until the watch actually ships.
If the watch has actually shipped, you will have received an email or text notice.
If our watches are going to arrive on Friday, and the shipping is overnight, the shipping notices and Order Status changes won't go out and post until tomorrow.
My credit card was charged on Monday the 20th, and within a few minutes, my Order Status changed to "Preparing for Shipment." If my watch is not here on Friday, I will be very surprised.
38mm SS w/WSB My order was confirmed at 3:09am on 4/10/15 via the Apple Store App.
This afternoon I updated the notifications on my Apple Store app so that I will receive alerts. I had forgotten to do that.
I really do hope that some of us - a goodly number of us - receive our watches on Friday. So many of us were up at 3:00am on the 10th so we would be in the first batch of receivers. Good luck, everyone.

Lol, yea, i have never seen so many people excited to get money taken from them lol. I'm of course happy I have, but wasn't necessarily excited to see the money gone lol. I also got the White Sport and haven't seen TOOOOO many people get that one, so I think that might be why. To be honest I am surprised so many went with the black. For some reason, It just doesn't appeal to me, which is odd because most of my watches I have now are black.
So true. I am poorer by 800 dollars as I speak. See, I got 4-6 weeks, with 15/5 delivery, but it's already in shipment and they have charged my money. Even some people with June delivery already see shipment status. Everybody will get their watch at least next week. No worries.

I got the white sport too! CC charged and ready for shipment. I originally thought I wanted the black strap, but didn't like the darker face. As we found out today, it's going to be a lot easier to change out the strap than it will be to change out the body, so I'm happy.
I ordered my husband a 42 white sport at 6:25 am Eastern on 4/10. I had a June ship date.

You know, Apple has said all along that they are updating and working through out the night, but oddly enough... Not a Single person here has had an update occur after 6:30 EST
I haven't seen anything over night, or early morning. It's like they do a batch before end of business each day.

I just looked at my tracking history from my iPhone 6 plus shipment (can't believe it's still there) It started in Louisville KY at 6 pm on the 18th and I had it in my hands at 4 pm on the 19th here in Michigan.
So using that as a reference some people may not show "shipping" into late Thursday evening and still get it Friday.

I'm an optimist and I think you will get yours Friday. I have one that still says 4-6 weeks and one that says July but that was ordered today.
Does anyone know if the status changes to preparing to ship when the planes land in Anchorage or Louisville?
Do any of my fellow fiends with a Space Grey sport need a screen protector for their new watch? I got 2 extra today and while I am SUPER aggravated and nervous about the fact that my card hasn't been charged yet, I do want to build up some good karma
