Probably not.
But it's a watch, not a phone. People don't replace them every year.
Then Apple will, ultimately, realize that this product is a failure.

You mean they weren't the big money makers Timmy expected? Maybe Angela chose the wrong displays, they didn't quite pop. I guess we'll be seeing more Apple watches at closeout prices on eBay and Amazon again...
An item ahead of its time. Still believe in its future, however not as a luxury fashion statement.
You are welcome. I don't think the simple idea of marketing in this way was lost on everyone, but since you chose to identify with the ignorant, it looks like you needed it.Thank you for coming down from way up there by the pearly gates to inform the rest of us ignorant folk about apple's watch strategy, with your absolutely singular and breathtaking understanding.
(sarcasm)
I think apple initially framed the watch as a luxury buy that could do fitness stuff and realized there wasn't a real market for it. Rather than trying to continue to try and market a luxury line in luxury places, they decided to focus on fitness. Sounds like they tried something in a new market, learned about what that market would do, then adjusted accordingly.

I.e. they’re flounderin’.
Maybe looking up the definition of a pop-up store will answer your question.
Why is this news macrumors? It's a "pop up store" never ment to be a store forever ...
I really disagree. If the product itself was inferior and subsequent attempts were inferior, then sure. But this is a shift in positioning and focus on market.I.e. they’re flounderin’.

The Apple Watch is fine and great product for many , placing it in these high end stores was delusional arrogance. It's a watch for geeks and a nifty accessory for the iPhone , no highend fashion statement.
Apple Watch and Nike make sense, Hermes and Apple Watch is poor product vision
