What pisses me off is I stayed up til 3:00am EST to order a watch and I here I sit with no real updates on processing times. If they couldn't fulfill initial orders they should've pushed back the launch.

It's because Tim already said Early 2015. The Watch clearly wasn't ready, and it's no coincidence that the watch was finally released within the final week of what is considered "Early 2015". He would have been better off saying "Spring 2015"

The time for my 38mm Milanaise ordered yesterday improved to 9 May, 2015 - 27 May, 2015 today.
But my 42mm Sport black is still on June.

the blue banded sport that i ordered my wife on friday 4-24 (yes launch day) has been updated to 3-5 week delivery whereas my stainless steel black link bracelet that i got up and ordered within minutes of pre-orders going live still says june........... thanks for dropping the ball apple.

Well, it not being available until June when orders went live was a pretty solid indicator that it wouldn't be coming soon.

I had a similar issue. My husband wanted the SS link and after I saw the lead time, I ordered him a SS BSB (38mm, he prefers the smaller case).

Then, I ordered a link band separately.

I know the people who wanted the Black SS were stuck with only one choice, but I wanted the Modern Buckle and they're not even available to order as separate bands now. I went with the 38mm Milanese loop. We got both our watches on launch day.

I had already thought through all my choices ahead of time and picked a few for each of us, to get better ship times.

First off all, they never pushed back the launch, there was only one launch date given, 4-24-15, and it launched that day

Second, stop complaining, there is a automated queue and you'll get your watch in the order it was received

Underestimated, yes. Made to order? No way.

----------

the model i ordered had a 4-6 week lead time the instant the store went live and no-one has received one that i've seen so yes i do believe these are being made as they are ordered, that's a lot of cost on their part to gamble with. i can't say i blame them from a manufacturing standpoint but it is aggravating from a i got up at 3am and now i'm going to be waiting till frickin june to get it when i could have done the same thing after getting a full night's sleep.

yet...

...and many MORE people who ordered are seeing NO changes in their PREorder.

What a buzzkill.

My overly-entitled, first-world butt is bummed out.

My estimate improved this morning from a vague "June" estimate to...

"Delivers: May 29-June 11 by Standard Shipping."

Which isn't really a substantial improvement over that vague "June" estimate now that I think about it, but I’ll take what I can get.

When did you place your order?

My 42mm Space Grey w/ Black sports band was just delivered. 7 more hours to go at work. OMG!!!@# @!BBQ!!@#!!@ONE!!11

I order April 10th, 3:04AM email confirmation. Had a deliverywindow of 4/24-5/8. Delivered today, 4/27, which is awesome cause its my birthday today.

I ordered my 42mm Sport Space Grey on 14/04 at 16:15.
I have 'Processing' and a 'June' dispatch.

I check the order at least 5 times a day and I feel like a fool for leaving it so late. I think it will arrive in December sometime.

I ordered the SS 42 with the classic buckle on 4/12 and it's still showing an estimated delivery date of June. I'm definitely not complaining since I ordered mine a little late but I'm still hopeful that my delivery date gets bumped up a little.

No changes for this guy.
I have very LOW expectations at this point.

When I get it, I'll enjoy it. Until then ... no worries.

(For what it's worth, I ordered within the first 3 minutes and still managed a mid-May estimate).

No Improvements Seen Here

Looks like I'm not alone. Ordered the 42mm Space Gray at 3:04 EST with the original delivery window of 4/24-5/8. Still no charge on my card or shipping updates. Other forum members have stated their later mid May dates are now being shipped out. Frustrating and I hope Apple doesn't ever do this again with launches. This has been a mess for sure.

What really piss me of is I pre order 42 SS BSB on 10 april 5:04 pm (australia) and still processing. But someone here order 42 SS WSB 26 april and he got prepared for ship 27 april even it's said delivery June on apple website.

I ordered 2 watches on April 10th at 00:27 (pacific time).

38mm SS with Milanese Loop
Delivers May13-27th
SHIPPED AND DELIVERED APRIL 24th.
No email or update, just saw the bank charge and the watch showed up.

42mm SS Black sport band
Delivers May13-27th
Still Processing
No emails or updates

Pisses me off that people have got theirs already with orders or better shipping dates with orders after me (or they are lying). Same thing happened with the iPhone 6 and 6+. Had to wait 6 weeks for the 6+.

Get it together Apple.

Feel unique? When was that ever promised?

It was not promised but is to be delivered as white watch repainted in pink. That is unique.

Those who were promised June delivery are upgraded to May. Where as those of us with placement at :01 min. on April 24th were pushed closer to those who ordered their watches days and weeks later. Such a great achievement :apple:.

I didn't preorder mine until the 22nd, so I doubt mine will ever change from June. Especially since I'm sure my model will be popular: 42mm SS Milanese. However, my extra charging cable will be arriving tomorrow, lol. I'm actually glad that it did because I'm thinking about crafting a wooden charging stand for it out of some maple that I have laying around. I've got a lot on my plate right now but I made a sketch of a foldable design the other day that I think would be compact and neat for traveling. My woodworking skills are fairly green, but the only way to improve is to make stuff. I wish I had a 3D printer for prototyping!

Ordered 42 SS BCB at +0:25 on 4/10 with 4/24-5/8 shipping window.

Still processing; received Apple's "we're working on it" email last week.

Bummed to miss launch day delivery, but Apple never guaranteed it to begin with.

The sooner it arrives, the better for everyone! C'mon Apple manufacturing, do your thing!
