Over the past few weeks it's been funny watching people get their knickers in a twist because they can't get their hands on a gadget for a few more weeks - a gadget that they've managed without their entire lives thus far..

I thought about that too. I should've just chose the white band instead of the black band since they're being shipped first. Fck, Apple. It was a slap in our faces seeing those 4-6 weeks/June orders being shipped first than ours. I don't know what's their problem with this model, did they just make 300 of this? My god! They had 6 months!!

Likely they ran into some last minute production issues or demand was off the charts for Space Gray and the black sport band. Apple follows just in time production techniques. My guess is that you'll have it next week. That's probably why they gave windows instead of hard shipment dates.

Did apple remove the option to pre-sign for your package? I remember before it was right next to where you see if your item has shipped. On apple.com

Doesn't seem like many SS watches made it, and if they did, it's with the white band. Any other band or even a black sports band seems to be delayed past Friday. That is of course within the delivery estimate apple sent, it's just somewhat disappointing that not more watches will be recieved tomorrow.
I ordered the Stainless Steel with classic band and it is coming tomorrow. It was the last model to "sell out" in the preorder so may not have been as popular.

Feeling pretty lucky...

I got my 'Shipment is on it's way email' this morning. I'm in the UK and had managed to complete my order around 8.03am on April 10th.

I've had the 24/4 - 8/5 shipping window since then so really happy to have it confirmed for tomorrow.

Just hope I don't miss the courier in the morning!!

Also, feeling pretty lucky as I ordered the 42mm Sport in space grey. Haven't seen many others who ordered this get shipping confirmation yet?

Yep, got both my emails (ordered 2 watches) notifying me of shipment but the strange thing is (being in the UK) it doesn't say it's by UPS but rather the carrier is just UK Mail.

Bit odd as all my other pre-orders with Apple have been UPS.

Apple use a mix of UPS and UK Mail here. I've had UK Mail orders in the past, and they're fine, no difference in quality of service between them and UPS that I've noticed.

EDIT: The Syncreon tracking page doesn't work this time, it's the proper UK Mail page instead:
https://www.ukmail.com/manage-my-delivery/manage-my-delivery

Select "Customer reference", and enter the Apple "Delivery Number" (from Apple's "Track Delivery" drop-down box on their order status page) and your post code.

No luck here. Still processing order --' 42mm space grey confirmed 3min after launch in NJ. :(

It's too bad you won't get it tomorrow but I'm sure you'll get it soon and within the window promised. The Space Gray looks like a popular model.

Simply put, April 24th is NOT a worldwide launch. Instead it's more of a "sneak peek" or "early bird launch". This is why we're all upset. Apple should have never announced April 24th as a launch, because it isn't. Yes they gave us a date range of 2 weeks, but let's face it: it's Apple. We've held them to a certain standard for years with every launch. Normally we would wake up early to order and we receive item on launch. This was not so this time around and because of it comes mass confusion ending with a lot of upset customers. Apple should have been more clear about their intentions and literally spelled it out for its customers by saying certain watch/band combos will not be available on the 24th in specific geographical areas due to supply. It would have been that easy. The approach they took was wrong and they should be more sympathetic than sending out vague emails 48 hours before "launch" basically saying "stop calling us".

I got the same as you bro! Ordered 08:02AM though. Apple Watch Sport Space Grey. Delivered tomorrow.

They're part of the Syncreon group, and you can track your order here (via the "My order" link at the bottom left): http://www.syncreon.com

Thanks that's really handy. When they stated UK Mail I was thinking just Royal Mail!

A gadget they were never explicitly promised they would have on the 24th. If only Apple had never mentioned the 24th in the first place. Sigh.

It's just a watch. People will survive if they don't have their's on the 24th. :)

From everything I am seeing on the forums and comments on Facebook, the issue seems to be centered around the 42 Space Gray with Black Sports band. I am not seeing anyone with this watch who has seen any movement on their order. That just happens to be the one I ordered within 2 minutes of the pre-order. I also received the email last night, so I am assuming it will not arrive for launch day.

This is what I ordered and mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.:)

Had a 4-6 Week delivery time frame when I placed the order for the Silver Sport watch. Now I am getting mine tomorrow.

Or more likely, Apple was overwhelmed as orders exceeded expectations and/or supply. Apple has never released a product with so many different configurations. They couldn't make millions of every version beforehand without risking being stuck with lots of unsold inventory. Remember, it isn't as if previous "smart watches" have been runaway successes. My guess is a million or more will be delivered tomorrow. That's 4 times as many iPhones were sold the first 3 days. That's a launch as far as I'm concerned.

For the record, I'm getting a stainless steel watch tomorrow for myself but I have a Mother's Day gift in the June window (sport with pink band). I'm hoping it arrives early.

It appears that way.

Well that sucks! I can't have it held at the facility,I won't be off work in time. I do have cameras and the ability to open my garage door from my phone. I'll leave a note with my cell number also authorizing him to leave it and I'll open the garage for him/her, maybe?

Mine is still processing. 38mm black Apple Watch Sport order placed through the iOS app with  Pay. I received my email order confirmation 2:04am CST with an April 24 - May 8 estimated date. I also received that "we're working on it" email last night. That really was pointless.

I don't understand why some developers received opportunities to get one early, and others, with the best delivery estimates, are now getting left behind.

42mm sport white band.

Still shows preparing for shipment. Didn't get the email last night nothing at all. People with the same SKU that's ordered after mine (my confirm was 12:03) have there tracking number.

Now maybe since I'm in Southern California it's going Fed Ex? Idk I'm not going to wine about not getting it tomorrow but I am put off by others reportedly getting there confirms and they ordered the same watch and after me.

I ordered 2 watches. One has been shipped and one I got the email of death. The one that has not been shipped was ordered at 12:03am and the one that was shipped was ordered at 12:06am

Cheers

Jeff

Is it coming by UPS? If so, you can sign up for My Choice free on their website and can give delivery instructions that way. Or you can pick it up Saturday morning from the UPS facility.
