I thought about that too. I should've just chose the white band instead of the black band since they're being shipped first. Fck, Apple. It was a slap in our faces seeing those 4-6 weeks/June orders being shipped first than ours. I don't know what's their problem with this model, did they just make 300 of this? My god! They had 6 months!!
I woke up to this message. I live in Ohio and it is on the way from Harrisburg, PA for delivery tomorrow.
I ordered a 42mm Blue Sports Watch.
Good Luck All
I ordered the Stainless Steel with classic band and it is coming tomorrow. It was the last model to "sell out" in the preorder so may not have been as popular.Doesn't seem like many SS watches made it, and if they did, it's with the white band. Any other band or even a black sports band seems to be delayed past Friday. That is of course within the delivery estimate apple sent, it's just somewhat disappointing that not more watches will be recieved tomorrow.
Yep, got both my emails (ordered 2 watches) notifying me of shipment but the strange thing is (being in the UK) it doesn't say it's by UPS but rather the carrier is just UK Mail.
Bit odd as all my other pre-orders with Apple have been UPS.
No luck here. Still processing order --' 42mm space grey confirmed 3min after launch in NJ.![]()
I got my 'Shipment is on it's way email' this morning. I'm in the UK and had managed to complete my order around 8.03am on April 10th.
I've had the 24/4 - 8/5 shipping window since then so really happy to have it confirmed for tomorrow.
Just hope I don't miss the courier in the morning!!
Also, feeling pretty lucky as I ordered the 42mm Sport in space grey. Haven't seen many others who ordered this get shipping confirmation yet?
Did apple remove the option to pre-sign for your package?
Apple use a mix of UPS and UK Mail here. I've had UK Mail orders in the past, and they're fine, no difference in quality of service between them and UPS that I've noticed.
They're part of the Syncreon group, and you can track your order here (via the "My order" link at the bottom left): http://www.syncreon.com
Over the past few weeks it's been funny watching people get their knickers in a twist because they can't get their hands on a gadget for a few more weeks - a gadget that they've managed without their entire lives thus far..![]()
It's just a watch. People will survive if they don't have their's on the 24th.Simply put, April 24th is NOT a worldwide launch. Instead it's more of a "sneak peek" or "early bird launch". This is why we're all upset. Apple should have never announced April 24th as a launch, because it isn't. Yes they gave us a date range of 2 weeks, but let's face it: it's Apple. We've held them to a certain standard for years with every launch. Normally we would wake up early to order and we receive item on launch. This was not so this time around and because of it comes mass confusion ending with a lot of upset customers. Apple should have been more clear about their intentions and literally spelled it out for its customers by saying certain watch/band combos will not be available on the 24th in specific geographical areas due to supply. It would have been that easy. The approach they took was wrong and they should be more sympathetic than sending out vague emails 48 hours before "launch" basically saying "stop calling us".
From everything I am seeing on the forums and comments on Facebook, the issue seems to be centered around the 42 Space Gray with Black Sports band. I am not seeing anyone with this watch who has seen any movement on their order. That just happens to be the one I ordered within 2 minutes of the pre-order. I also received the email last night, so I am assuming it will not arrive for launch day.

It appears that way.
Well that sucks! I can't have it held at the facility,I won't be off work in time. I do have cameras and the ability to open my garage door from my phone. I'll leave a note with my cell number also authorizing him to leave it and I'll open the garage for him/her, maybe?
