My blue 38mm Sports just got its UPS tracking updated, it's in Ontario, CA and will be delivered tomorrow by 3p.m. in Phoenix. They are cutting it close. Usually, when I order items, they arrive the day before and then get on the truck early the next morning, so this will be a late night delivery and then quickly put on the truck I guess.

----------

So one of my watches is being delivered tomorrow but the other (Apple Watch Sport 38mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band) which was ordered at 12:03a.m. is still in processing with the 4-6 weeks delivery status.

So they are people who are getting a SG Sport tomorrow? When was your order time?

my friend ordered the same (38mm, sg) - still in 'processing' with expected delivery between 04/24 - 05/08. fyi - he got his order in at 3:03 est.

delivery date April 27th

Just curious how many people who got ship notifications have an ETA of Monday vs Friday? Got my UPS tracking number around 6PM (not working yet) but e-mail from Apple says 27th....wonder if there is any chance it arrives tomorrow?

Oh... I only ordered two in total, sorry My 42mm SS with classic leather buckle and the 38mm SS with modern buckle for the fiancée. Hers is a surprise though :)

I did order two white sport bands. One for her and one for me. I workout 5 days a week,so it'll be nice to put that band on before the gym. Haha! I'm the exact opposite. I do 60 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of LIGHT weights. Lol

I'm also very excited about the fitness portion of the watch. I'd like to see my daily step count (before the treadmill) too.

At least hers will be a surprise and she won't be expecting it until you give it to her when it arrives. You being dedicated to fitness, will really appreciate the Watch fitness capabilities. Hopefully, hers will ship soon. Engagement ring and an Apple Watch! That's better than Christmas Day.

There's been a few people a couple post's back that has gotten that email & gotten there CC// shipping email shortly after.

I got the "reassurance" e-mail last night.

The order I put in at 1203AM and confirmation received at 1207AM on 4/10 shows "Processing Order" and hasn't changed.

Card hasn't been charged.

Tried the chat option and got nowhere...

I'm throwing in the towel & just going to wait till next week. I've learnt to not even bother with pre-orders if it's going to be this messy of a launch.

Why not just get different bands instead of many watches? Each watch has its own memory, etc... so I would expect that it would become a pain to keep them in sync if you used a different one at the gym.

Both my Sport Watches are different models, same 42 MM Size. I am one of those individuals that appreciates variety. And as far as the syncing goes, once they are synced, there is nothing else to it. And depending on the bands you purchase, you can easily spend up to $200-$300 dollars. pending on your selection. I would rather have the extra Watch.

Wonder if UPS is going to be able to keep up the pace.....?

My tracking was visible before 3AM this morning and this is what it still shows:

Should be interesting in here tomorrow some shift from crucifying Apple to crucifying UPS. :D

Can't believe I ordered my watch seven minutes into the pre-order period and no watch coming. Ordered the watch with melaneese loop but also ordered a sport band. Is the sport band order the.problem?

Gosh, it sure would be nice if they would provide an answer or at least a guesstimate...

Seems like the Black Sports Band is one of the culprit's. Wonder who makes these?

Isn't apple making everything? I think it's just the supplier of the materials having an issue or they are having an issue with output quality, they made it sound like the chemical process of making the sports band was very complex. But they (Apple) is known to use fancy words all the time.

ordered mine 2 days ago and it's already coming

I ordered a blue 32mm sport watch just two days ago and it's already coming tomorrow!! wow.....I am so surprised!

I ordered mine 2 days ago and now it's coming tomorrow....so weird and extremely fast!

I thought about that too. I should've just chose the white band instead of the black band or different band since they're being shipped first. Fck, Apple. It was a slap in our faces seeing those 4-6 weeks/June orders being shipped first than ours. I don't know what's their problem with this model, did they just make 300 of this? My god! They had 6 months!!

I ordered the 42mm SS Milanese Loop and received confirmation at 12:06 and still have no shipping notice and I received the email of doom. :-(

Thanks Mike, hadn't thought of Apple as the supplier. I looked in some of the supply chain articles on the web and didn't locate the supplier. Will be interesting to see how quickly they can clear the backlog out to June, or in some cases July. With all the Ads running and people now wearing the Watch...has the potential to accellerate the orders.

How exactly are you being left behind? You were told 24th April to 8th May, and that's till the case.

If they said "You will get your watch on the 24th", then changed their minds and others who ordered later leap frogged you, I could see how you may be mildly disappointed. But the fact is it's right on schedule; even if it's delivered on the 8th of May (which they are well within their rights to).

And I'm glad developers got an opportunity - they're the ones who will really make the cool things happen. I don't want thin dev support for the Apple Watch like you see with Android Wear which has nowhere near the dev traction - yet it was released much earlier.

I just want an explanation of why orders are not being fulfilled on a first come first served basis. FYI I am a developer too.

I have the same shipping information. I tried chatting UPS but the girl seemed only somewhat familiar with the concept of sending or receiving a package. I asked if I could have it dropped at the UPS store down the road, which they said would add a couple of days.

I'm not holding out hope.

my sports black 42mm was delivered around 10 am ( France) :) . Picking it up Sunday evening. yay!

For what its worth

I ordered 2 watches on 04/19/2015 at approximately 11:34 PM (In Arizona)

1) 38mm AG Blue SB
2) 42mm SS Link Bracelet

Keep in mind I was originally given a June Delivery (which I expected).
To my surprise I received an email stating that the 38mm AG will be delivering on Friday 24th by EOD.

My 42mm SS Link Bracelet (Still processing)
But after seeing comments on various threads looks like this could be moving well before June or mid May. It's a strong possibility.

I wouldn't stress too much if you ordered as late as I did, as the results could be better than expected. I was truly shocked to see it that fast.

Hoping this will make others feel better knowing that they are probably in a better situation than I am seeing I ordered WAY TOO LATE.

I ordered a 42 SS BSB at 3:07AM on April 10th. My order is still processing. Although I was given a 2 week window from April 24 to May 8th, I'm still very disappointed. I understand the many possible reasons why Apple isn't able to fill all their orders on the first day, but that doesn't do much to console me. I have placed them on a high pedestal and expect perhaps way too much from them. I was origionally going to order the aluminum model, but changed my mind at the last minute thinking that the SS would be sturdier and less likely to be scratched and nicked. I then definately could't afford to buy a more expensive band so I went with the BSB. I believed I would get mine on the 24th because I was convinced in my mind that a 42" SS BSB would be a very popular combo and that surely Apple would have produced an ample supply. Apparently I was wrong. It's frustrating to see all the advertising and hype starting when I was someone who wanted this watch from the day I heard about it and started saving my money then. Again, I understand all the possible reasons this roll out is difficult, I just wish that there was a better way for them to do it and keep their loyal customers happy. Oh, I'll live and my life really doesn't revolve around a silly watch. In fact I've considered canceling several times when I think of the cost. I wear a Pebble now and could upgrade to their new one for hundreds and hundreds less. I'm sure I'd be happy. But all my devices are Apple and I know how well it will mesh with what I already have. Still waiting, although impatiently!

I'm in the same boat as you. Ordered the exact same model within two minutes of them going on sale. Like you I will survive until my watch is delivered. It's just a little annoying knowing that there are others who ordered later than I did were able to get one with the same configuration. If there was an issue with the 42mm stainless or the black sport band or even the sapphire screen. It would have been nice to get an email stating that. Heck even now an email with an updated shipping window would be appreciated. I still haven't even been charged yet.

I'm disappointed too, although I ordered "too late" at 4:30 east coast time and got a May 13-27 delivery estimate for my 42 SS Milanese.

What's irking me a bit is not that others will get theirs before me, but that I took very prompt action, have set aside the money for the item, can't get it, yet Apple still is marketing the crap out of how great the watch is, 3,000 apps available, etc etc.

I guess this is my problem for posting and compulsively following all these Macrumors threads this week. I know that once I get the watch and play with it for a few days it will be like any other phone/tv/computer/car I've ever bought and will become no big deal. But still, the waiting ...

I just want an explanation of why orders are not being fulfilled on a first come first served basis. FYI I am a developer too.

I've got one on order and I wasn't promised first come, first served. Just a window of delivery between 24th April to 8th May.

There are 3 watches in the collection, with 2 sizes in each, and various colours, with numerous straps. All customisable. These things are assembled in one part of the world, and sold over. Different payment methods/authorising banks for good measure. Estimates say pre-orders are over 2 million. Can you even begin to imagine the logistics? It blows my mind.

So I'm not really expecting anything except delivery within the estimated window.

As an aside I don't think there's ever been a product launch, by any company, on this scale as complex as this. The combinations are so great, that estimating demand would've been hard. With this initial wave out of the way it should help their future forecasting and help smooth things considerably.
