Totally agree. I've been fortunate enough to avoid any major issues so far.

It's possible that only the people who originally signed up for the iOS public beta can access it. I remember they limited the number of people originally, and dont know if that got expanded.

Yep, as far as I can tell, it is only available for the people who had submitted bug reports during the Yosemite public beta period (as in, they used the beta for the purpose of which apple wanted them to).
 
How do you remove the beta profile from the watch in the future? Does it require a full reset?
 
How do I beta test this? I signed up to beta test on my iPhone and never received any response. And was told that you have to be chosen by Apple to beta test iOS software on the phone. Is it the same with the watch?

Nope, I submitted several bug reports for Yosemite but was not selected for the iOS beta.
 
Do you know how to enroll for the iOS specific beta program? I am currently only enrolled in the Yosemite beta program and cannot find a way to enroll my iOS devices.
