Personally glad I haven’t felt like I’ve needed to upgrade my S8. Also good for more time to go by between first purchase and upgrade time. I was originally unsure if the watch is tech or jewelry. After some years, I’d say definitely tech given how Apple trashed the OS and the battery degradation.

This is very welcome but I'd also very much welcome thinner bezels. I love my Series 10, but I was disappointed at how big the bezels were when it was unveiled.

We all have unique desires but Anti-bezel desires are always so interesting to me. How much bezel is enough? How little is enough? How about zero bezels? Frameless, all glass Apple Watch? Zero protection. How about cars with no fenders and no doors. All glass iPhones with no edges so it’s impossible to add a case. Pictures on the wall with no decorative frame, as it could be argued, the frame offers no functional value. Why do we ever bother with crown moulding in a nicely designed living room? As bezels on a watch or Phone add functional structural integrity and provide something for the glass to be attached to, how can “less bezels next year” be so desired each year?

I'd like to know how. Remember all those rumors of a flat-faced Apple Watch Series 7 way back in 2021 that all the leakers got TOTALLY wrong? Gawd, I hope we don't go through those shenanigans again.

These are all reasonable complaints on the Apple Watch, but Apple is feature-based. So of course the battery doesn't last long, it has to undergo all of these apps and whatnot that is on the Apple Watch. For some people, it's getting a different watch brand. For others, it's living with it. And then there is the 6th Generation iPod nano that can also function like a simplified Apple Watch with its watchband.
