I feel your pain (now). I'm new to Apple Watch. I went with the LTE model and I travel a lot. It sucks it doesn't work while roaming, even though my T-Mobile plan does. I can use my iPhone in pretty much any country I travel to, so in theory my watch should be able to as well. I hope they eventually figure out a solution for this.I just wish LTE AW was supported in my country. I would switch my AW3 to LTE in a flash.
For me, LTE was the tipping point that made me want to buy one. It was a combination of factors, but LTE was what made me finally take a serious look at it.Not really because of LTE. It was finally the right time to buy an Apple Watch with the Series 3.
https://www.apple.com/newsroom/pdfs/Q1_FY18_Consolidated_Financial_Statements.pdf100% of 0 is still 0. I can claim I'm a multi-millionare but until I produce a bank statement it means little. Apple can claim "up 100%" all they want but until they release numbers it means zilch.
1) The article doesn’t say growth, just revenueNot revenue, but revenue growth.
I have a Series 2 and I get two days. What’s to understand?
Still nothing compared to what this thing will become in the next 5 years.
If one company is positioned to revolutionize health care, that’s Apple. And they sure have the will and the resources to do so. And boy, will they patent it.
Wasn't Series 2 roughly tied at the top with Rolex for revenues last year?
They would have sold at least one more if they didn’t have an exclusivity deal with EE. I’m still rocking the original Apple Watch and I’m desperate for a new one - it’s really flagging now. But I’m not switching back to EE to get one.
I didn’t upgrade from my series 0 until December, however if my carrier supported cellular I would have updated at launch. My main reasons for updating were because my series 0 was very slow and the battery life had gotten really poor.LTE was a big enough change to entice people to buy. If everyone understood the difference in battery life compared to the older models they would upgrade just for that. I knew it was better but I went from a good part of the day to pretty much two days battery life. I have no complaints.

I’m waiting for some kind of design change before upgrading from my s0 (it’s a bit slow, batteries fine). It’s not that I don’t like the current design, but I figure a change must be coming and I don’t want to get the series before the change model.. Also, I’m worried they’ll change the band connector, so want to see if it persists through a design change. Any thought?Must have had a series 0 like me. Battery lasts most of 1 day. Waiting for the next one to upgrade though as the watch just doesn’t do enough for me to justify spending that much on one every year or even every other.

I agree a design change is likely imminent if If a Series 4 Apple Watch launches in fall 2018, likely a similar form factor, but tweaked.
However, there is zero indication and I don't believe Apple will change the band port for Series 4. Mainly because they have such a large market with the bands in profit and its proprietar , it would be a poor business practice if they changed the band port at this point.
Love my AW series 3, up from a series 0. I went for the non-LTE version as I always have my phone with me.
Apple Pay, directions via Maps, notifications, texts, grocery list, and more better and faster. Between this and my new X, I’ve done my part .
I get that battery performance on my Series 2... don't need a Series 3 for that.
Could be I’m imagining that. Overall it’s snappier. And regardless, AP on the Watch is a stellar feature.I agree with all except the Apple Pay.
Haven’t noticed a difference from my 0 to series 3 there.
Same. No LTE model here, but I’ve had it off the charger for 9.5 hours and I’m still at 80% My series 0 would be at 20% by now.
My 1st gen also gets similar results.I have the series 0 and that is not true on my case. After all days activity (including exercise) is at 25% battery before I go to bed at 11PM. And I am up by 6AM. Not upgrading util series 4. Still happy with the first series.
