better water resistance? Is this an issue for people? Since the third gen watch I swam, jetskied (standup), wakeboarded, and never had an issue.
I agree, even with an ultra it's still once a day if you do extended workouts and don't want to worry about it dying the following day. thankfully it charges super quick, I'll toss it on charger while I shower of if I have my rings full I'll toss it on charger in the evening before going to bedBet you’ll still need to charge the 10 just about daily if you use it for fitness.
Stuff that. I’m switching to Garmin. Tired of charging my watch so often
THIS! Exactly what I do. Instead of just placing it somewhere when not wearing, I just put it on a fast charger for a bit. How hard is that? A bit of an inconvenience, yes, and wished it was better, but really, how hard is it? I love my watch and all it can do for me. You even have an emergency caller right on your wrist.I agree, even with an ultra it's still once a day if you do extended workouts and don't want to worry about it dying the following day. thankfully it charges super quick, I'll toss it on charger while I shower of if I have my rings full I'll toss it on charger in the evening before going to bed
That’s why I assumed me gaining weight over the years was not the cause of me having sleep apnea. I probably had it for a while and ignored all of the signs until 2 years ago when I drove from MD to FL, and noticed I was falling asleep behind the wheel even after sleeping 9 hours beforehand. It happened every time I drove more than 3 hours somewhere.I have recently lost over 100 pounds and I’m still using my BiPap.
Prime reason why I do not travel anywhere without my Apple Watch. It saved my life last summer.THIS! Exactly what I do. That’s an apologists take. It’s an unnecessary solution. The next watch I’m going to buy this week (Fenix 8) will get me a couple of weeks of battery. If it was the Enduro 3, it’d be weeks with all the sensors on as well.THIS! Exactly what I do. Instead of just placing it somewhere when not wearing, I just put it on a fast charger for a bit. watch doesn't need to be charged overnight. How would sleep apnea work when the majority probably charge the watch overnight
it is good to know how many hours i am sleeping, but i am not buying CPAP for sure.Sleep apnea seems like a total disaster nowadays.
I wasn't even aware of this thing before 2022, now two people close to me have CPAP machines, and based on their experiences, I'm wondering if I don't have sleep apnea myself.
I am not buying CPAP for sure either. It looks awful to look like an astronaut in your bed, next to your partner.it is good to know how many hours i am sleeping, but i am not buying CPAP for sure.
The Garmin wins on battery but loses on everything else including price. Charging the Apple Watch daily is a minor nuisance. If you are heading into the backcountry with a phone (since the Garmin doesn't have cellular) you will need to bring a power bank anyway. If there are reasons other than battery life to choose the Garmin, then that's another thing. That’s an apologists take. It’s an unnecessary solution. I bought into the “just put it in a charger when you shower” excuse before I bought my Apple Watch and am honest enough with myself to admit that is just me being an apologist for rubbish design
