It's pretty obvious it has a bigger battery. With gps off it says it can due continuos hear rate monitoring for 8 hrs. 1st Apple Watch can only do 5hrs.

Yeah I guess it comes down to if you think gps, water proofness and brighter display is worth $100. I think I might wait for Black Friday sale. Sucks that my Apple Watch is now basically worthless, but I guess that's what being an early adopter gets you.

Be glad you didn't buy one of the fancy ones that costs thousands. I guess the best approach is to buy a good band and then swap out the watch when you upgrade. I'm more interested in the watch than the iPhone 7 and definitely want to keep my audio jack

As someone who enjoys a week-long battery life and I do track my sleep, I would very much welcome an Apple Watch that could do the same. It's not like it's impossible!

And of course, if Apple did offer sleep tracking, it would become a major selling point, and everyone will bang on and on about how cool it is.

I find it a bit saddening that so many people these days think it's acceptable for a watch to be dead after a day. Standards have dropped so far.
Just out of curiosity, does the tech even exist to allow a watch that complex to function longer than a day? I mean, without military grade battery tech, can it be done? The android smart watch seems nowhere near as useful, despite its longer battery life. So, I'm curious.
