LTE and thinner while maintaining current battery life/size would be a physical contradiction.

I didn't mean both LTE AND thinner, however not knowing when an S3 would drop and potential advancements in technology do not mean achieving both is impossible. They could, for example, make the watch flatter and bigger

Series 3 (If true for Fall 2017) with the LTE option certainly won't be any larger Of a casing than where Series 2 is now. And what I mean by larger is increasing the display size above 42 MM, which wouldn't likely be any larger until Apple does a complete overhaul of the Watch.

Yes, I can't see Apple getting rid of the 38mm and going to a 44mm-46mm or larger case. I think Apple is 'proud' of offering the only smart watch (38mm) that is not 'honking big'. Also going to a larger case means a larger screen and this also increases battery needs and would negate the ability to achieve a thiner profile.

EDIT: Relentless Power I'm getting sick of agreeing with you  and will be actively looking for something to debate you on.:D

I got my Series 2 yesterday. Gave my original series to the wife. We are both very happy. You can always wait for the next model, but then again, you will always be waiting...
