I hope we get it soon since as I remember, once Apple sends a shipment notification we can print the pre-sign form. I need to do that tomorrow morning as I'm flying to the west coast for a meeting on Thursday, so I would like to have everything all set for my wife on Friday...
If you sign up for MyChoice you can do it there - or just type your own up by putting the tracking number and your signature on a paper saying it’s ok to leave it. Even with your form, MyChoice or the Apple form, the driver can still choose to not leave it if they determine it unsafe for the package to leave it out.

Your wife can pick it up at a UPS CC or Store if she brings the tracking number and her ID. Also, she can sign for it if she’s home. Apple shipments usually need an indirect signature - meaning you or someone else in your home.

Yeah I’ve usually just had things held for pickup, but I didn’t know I could have someone else pick up for me- unfortunately, she works all day and won’t be able to be home or pickup for me though. I’ve left the signature release form on the door before quite a bit too, and never have had a problem. Didn’t know I could just write up my own form though- thanks for the tip!

I can see the shipment moving around China on the UPS MyChoice site, but the AppleStore site still says preparing for shipment

https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/sri/need-signature.page - signature info :)

I did some digging and I thought someone had uploaded a blank release form a while back, here it is: https://forums.macrumors.com/attach...orization-apple-pre-sign-iphone-7-pdf.652200/

And this is from the MyChoice page when you go to change a shipment to pickup:

If you take your order number starting with the 'W' and you type that in without the last 2 numbers into UPS tracking, you should be able to track all your packages!

Has anyone’s verizon order moved passed processing?

Nope, and probably won’t until at best tomorrow sometime. I’m sure ours are in route from China just like everyone who ordered direct from Apple, they just haven’t been scanned into Verizon’s system yet.

That has been the pattern in the past when I have preordered from Verizon. Last time mine didn't move from processing until Thursday and I still got my order on Friday.

I’m hoping I move to preparing for shipment early next week which would be a good sign of getting it sooner than the 2-3 weeks Apple quoted.

LOL; item arrived in ANC (Anchorage) but its not 9:09PM there, so I'm not sure if this is time-travel or what. BTW--mine is on there as well :) And yes, I pre-ordered from Apple (quickest pre-order yet..less than 3 minutes after 12:01) I used the Apple Store app on my iPad (i'd already saved the item to my favorites with my credit card and everything). That app really does rock btw.
