I’m late to the flight-tracking party, but about how long do packages sit in customs? My watch has shown “Clearance in process” all day on UPS. Arrival scan earlier today in Shanghai (yesterday, shanghai time?) but still no departure scan. Are scans delayed or is the package just chillin?

44 mm Aluminum, Sport Band, Cellular if any one is curious. Also happened to the separate Sport Loop I ordered.

Ordered right after the Keynote with a 9/20 delivery date.

Would I be crazy for trading in my aluminum AW4 for a titanium AW5? I’m sorely tempted and have the money, but I know I don’t “need” it... Other than the always-on face and the cellular (my AW4 is not LTE version), would there be any benefit?

Edit: Oof November delivery though... think it would come sooner?

Personally I think the SS look more premium than titanium ones. But really id wait for S6. I’m guessing they change up bands to provide battery plus sleep tracking. Maybe even FaceTime. Faster chip. Etc.

This is a bad year to get a premium Apple Watch. Chip is already a year old.

Nike watches ship two weeks after the new Apple Watch releases. This year the release date is 10/4. My wife is patiently waiting for its arrival.

Is this standard for Nike models?

Just received my watch. I went to the UPS office to pick it up. I was shocked that the shipping box had no tamper proof tape on it. In fact, it had no tape on it all. Anybody could've just opened the box and took the watch right out.

Oh well, now just waiting for the phone to be delivered.

My buddy in Vegas just had his show up and it’s shipping from California. There’s still a chance. It always seems like someone pulls some magic tricks and makes it happen.

And so it happened. Unexpectedly, a UPS label for my Series 5 Apple Watch was created yesterday at 5:44 PM for Next Day Air Service. With a Nashville Departure Scan at 10:33 PM I was not sure that the package would make it on the Louisville flight to its final destination, but both my iPhone 11 Pro Max and Series 5 Apple Watch were scanned "Out for Delivery" today.

Still no tracking number... called and talked to another supervisor who basically told me no serial was assigned to my order and so I won’t be getting my watch on release. She advised she has many calls similar to this and apparently shipping is a total mess this year, according to her. I told her how I have my iPhone tracking number, but it hasn’t left China either, and she told me based off that, I won’t be getting my phone at release either.
She told me “I wish Apple would stop giving exact dates when they’re approximations. The terms and conditions say it can be late a few days.” And that I wasn’t the only person to see this issue. She basically told me to wait or cancel my order, and if she were me she would cancel it and go to a store and hope for the best.

Yes, Wed the 25th... just updated within the hour, was a 9/27. order. Also a 10/1 order went to prep for ship today.

UPS changed the delivery date from Tuesday to now Wednesday 😭

Still no shipping for mine 😭. Still shows processing w/ a 9/27 date. Hope it ships out soon. On a side note I love this pro max midnight green, beautiful color. But is it weird for me to be just as excited about the new watch, maybe more? I’ve always had aluminum and this year I got space black stainless steel.

Got my new Series 5 today! And I've set it up and swapped it out for my old watch on my cellular plan. I went from Series 0 to Series 3 a year ago June (wanted cellular and didn't want to wait). Now, I want fall detection and also to give my Series 3 to my daughter. I was worried about the larger size but as soon as I put it on it felt just the same. But holy cannoli! The text is so large! I'm testing out one of the always-on faces. Cat accessory is optional.

UPS is telling me the 25th as well. It got to Anchorage earlier today so it’s got me thinking/hoping it could arrive sooner

Where is your watch currently? I have a Wednesday delivery date as well from UPS. MY latest scan was an arrival scan in Anchorage; of all the screenshots I’ve seen, people’s packages didn’t spend more than a few hours before getting the departure scan there, but mine just seems to be sitting. Provided it does depart soon for Louisville, I really don’t see how it would take until Wednesday to be delivered if it’s constantly moving...
