Mine has the note, "Apple volume at origin pending departure on Charter Aircraft as scheduled." I'm guessing the watches either are already on Polar Air Cargo 998 or will be on Air China 1077, Suparna 7465, Air China 1011, or China Southern 431.

My watch is sitting in Shanghai with an Export scan. Estimated delivery date was 9/23/20 but now updated to say “information unavailable” anxiously awaiting that departure on the next plane

Another poster noted an exception due to "Apple volume" and it also mentioned a "charter flight" so.. perhaps some of the 9 other flights scheduled to leave Shanghai for Anchorage will be carrying our watches.

Same here, Apple says Sept 28th (but know that's never updated), never had date from UPS, always check back later or information unavailable. Just received update from UPS with September 24th scheduled delivery date
 
Anyone else with an October 14-21 timeline? I'm hoping for earlier but not holding my breath.

I have one Oct 5-12 (Graphite SS Milanese band) and another Oct 14-21 (Ti w Braided Solo Loop). No movement on either. I've been lurking on this thread - there have only been a handful of October delivery dates I've seen so far.
 
Typically the UPS driver will hand you your package if you walk up to the truck and provide the necessary info, but given UPS’s current Covid protocols, I would probably let him do a contact-free delivery. Couriers particularly have been under a lot of strain since the pandemic started.

This is true during the pandemic with deliveries from UPS. My driver though is the best. He knows both my wife and I by first name, and when we see him around town, he will give us our packages.

Mine is out for delivery. UPS sent me a link to follow the truck. Last time that happened it went all around me before actually delivering. Wonder if I can go flag down the truck 🤔

Hate that follow your deliver thing, UPS delivers to residents last and often in my area anyway that usually means anywhere from 5pm to 7pm. Depending on the value if I want something early enough I would put a hold on it at the UPS customer center and pick it up myself early morning...
 
Just arrived a few minutes ago; original Apple estimate was Sept. 25-29th.
Ordered a few minutes after the Keynote ended and the store opened back up. Shipped from China on 9/18.
Product Red 44MM w/ Sport Loop.

I'm lurking 40 MM Gold SS with Gold ML with Oct 5-12th....really hoping it will ship end of this week or early next week. I have hope since folks are getting their stuff about one week early.... <fingers crossed>
 
As I said in my post #2,496 UPS has lost my watch. It was supposed to be in my hands right now, as I set it to be picked up at their office. When I went there to get it they said they had no record of it. Checking the tracking number they said they have no record of it since it left Shanghai even though I had tracking data on my phone showing it’s journey from Shanghai to Urbana. They said the record I was looking at is a “Logical” track, not a physical track. In other words at Shanghai it was physically scanned as going on a trailer. From that point on they only scan the trailer, not the individual items on it. Somewhere between there and here it got misplaced and the only thing that can be done is to wait until it turns up somewhere where it should not be. I asked for a phone number to complain and was told they do not do that.

At this point I’m just plain out.

It does get worse. I purchased the watch on the trade in program. The box to send my current watch arrived yesterday. From prior experience I know that if Apple does not get my current watch in a set time they will charge me for the full price on my new watch which I may not even have yet.

Urbana MD, not surprised. That Logical vs. Physical is BS. Was it out for delivery? Was is scanned in at your local hub?

My guess, it was stolen as most drivers know what AI is on the label.

Have you contacted Apple? That’s what I would do.
