Thanks. Yeah, I saw it after I posted. There is also an Air China leaving in ~37 minutes. We will know for sure when we get a departure scan.
Based on the charter mention that some people got on their exceptions from UPS, I think it is more likely Kalitta Air than Air China since Kalitta Air focuses on charter flights. That flight was not showing up until an hour ago as opposed to the Air China one which has been scheduled for a while. Either way, I am hoping we get a departure scan soon 🤞
 
I don't think 3:25AM group is on this flight. Seems unlikely :(

Your watch first needs to receive the ‘Cleared customs’ update and the ‘Export scan’ update before it will be on a flight. You will know that it is on a flight when you see ‘Departed the Facility’ from Shanghai. After my ‘Export scan’ in Shanghai, it took 2 days before it went on a flight.
 
Ordered 2 watches for the wife and myself shortly after keynote. I was in the middle of work so I wasn't as on top of it as i have been previous years.
And thenI ordered the wrong dang watches. Both aluminum with basic silicon bands as previously this was always my least expensive, quickest shipped option. But we both wanted a Stainless Steel model.
I went back to cancel the previous, not allowed for some reason, I would have to wait until I physically receive it, then put it back in the mail to return.

So I just went ahead and order the proper models we wanted.
1 - 40mil Stainless with the new pinkish band for my wife
1 - 44mil Stainless with the new pride band for myself
Also ordered 2 of the new braided stretchy bands, the blue and green. I think they look fantastic.
The bands arrived on the 18th so I have been wearing them on the older watch.

The 2 SS watches originally had a Sept 28-Oct5 delivery but then received notification that they are on the truck for delivery as I type this.
The 2 Aluminium watches had a Sept 25th'ish delivery date and they have been updated for delivery tomorrow.
Fingers crossed everything makes it.
 
To update my 2,518 post about my watch being lost by UPS. When I talked to the people in the UPS center they said that there was no place else I could go to get any help. When I got home I called Apple and talked to a rep there, who just happened to have previously worked as a rep for UPS. She gave me a UPS customer service number.

I called them and they said that the truck that my watch is supposed to be on is still in Urbana and has not yet been unloaded. This is why the readout says its in Urbana, but the people could not find it. Again its the “Logical Scan” verses the “Physical Scan.” There is still a possibility that I could get it today, but I”m not holding out much hope. The Office is not open again until 4:30 PM today. The UPS service rep said she would send a message to the Urbana center to find the watch and contact me so I can pick it up.

To tell the truth, I don’t hold out much hope that will happen.

For those who might need it the UPS Customer Service Number is 1-800-742-5877. There is a phone robot there that answers and is more difficult to get past than the Apple one.

They told me the anchor gray band is no longer being made and it’s inclusion in create your style was a mistake. They said I needed to choose another band option but because the order had to be cancelled I have to reorder and wait times are terrible right now so I’m just screwed. I asked if they can prioritize my order and was told no, they can’t do that at this time.
 
Anyone else in this group? It is 3:00am September 22 in China right now. So it's just waiting to get on a flight to Alaska if I am understanding this right.

My watch took 1 day (in the past) to get from China to Anchorage. So I kinda expected to see Alaska by now <shrug>? :p I don't pretend to understand.

No way to know exactly which group is going to go on that flight. I am saying 2AM group because we received the exception saying a charter had been booked. It is possible 3:25AM batch will be on it as well. That flight is set to depart in 2 hours

I have no mention of a charter either but I got a text message with an exception at the same time people posted the exception message with charter. Right after that, this charter flight showed up on flight plans so the timing makes it seem like this could be it

Two UPS planes have landed at the Louisville International Airport from Anchorage. Hopefully for those (and by those I mean me 😂) who are still stuck on the “export scan” from Shanghai will see updates coming in later. There’s a UPS operations center on the airport grounds as well as the Global Operations Center directly across the street from the airport.
