What’s going on is that UPS has determined that routing through Taiwan is the most efficient way to get your package to you and there’s still plenty of time for it to arrive Wednesday.

You all bribed the customs agents with a few too many... they sent us the wrong way and stuck us on an island!
Ok, can anyone figure out which flight left Shanghai at 5:20am and arrived at Taiwan at 6:48am? I can't find this flight at all!
I had been busy with work today, so hadn’t been keeping up with the tracking. Taiwan?! Wow, I was not expecting that. I was hoping we were going straight to Anchorage, but no.
Perhaps we as the 2am crew were too rowdy, and so got tossed off the plane?

Not necessarily. The plane that was for China Airlines 5898 (Shanghai to Taipei) is the same plane as China Airlines 5244 (Taipei to Anchorage). It’s possible it stopped in Taipei but they didn’t unload our watches.
12 hours is plenty of time to🍹🍷🍸to make the next flight more enjoyable. Are there any good drinks at the Taipei airport bar? For science...
It’s 525pm and my UPS driver still hasn’t showed up - I wanted to return my order today on my off day but as usual UPS is going to be at end of their time frame. Travel time to Walnut Creek is about 25 mins and 15 mins for parking.
So in preparing to ship for how long? Already been 2 days... I ordered an hour after the keynote ended....
Definitely, and since we’re now on China Airline Cargo, there are a bunch of flights from TPE to ANC, hopefully not waiting for 12 hours for the UPS flight. We could still receive on September 23rd if we’re on one of the next CAL flights

Even better then, cause CAL5244 is already en route to TPE. I think the likely scenario is the cargo is moved to 5X61.
