Interesting. PA here too. Kinda imperative I hold for pickup since mine is being sent to my old address. Must have missed it rushing through checkout. I suppose if My Choice doesn’t give me the option by then, I’ll contact UPS tomorrow to try and get it held at the distribution center.
I’m showing “Information Unavailable” but this the app shows me 9/23 delivery.
Mine's in Taiwan and MyChoice lets me select Deliver Options under the In Transit bar. Can change delivery location or date. Maybe when it goes thru ANC it will have caught up so you can have it held.
When you are signed into my choice go to ‘delivery options’ this is were you supposedly can pay 5.00 to possibly get it a day sooner. Then click ‘delivery date’ and it will offer you the one day sooner, click that and it will show you the day you are currently scheduled for delivery. Mine says the 23rd—— nowhere else has this shown up.
I was able to change mine and I have the free version. So you should be able to change it.
Same -- I requested it earlier to be held for pickup earlier in the process. Now it doesn't give me the option to change.
I think once you select for Hold, you can't change it. Just give 'em a call.
I just requested mine to be held at a local UPS store, too many porch pirates and wrong deliveries in our complex. Hoping it doesn’t mess up the delivery date too much. 🤞🏻
Yeah, I don't think my AW S6 is on this flight. I don't see any Departure Scans matching the time this flight left Taiwan...
My wife, via UPS My Choice, saw the option to pay for early delivery for $5. Instead of the 24th, delivery (not guaranteed) on the 22nd. <shrug> $5 - even if it doesn't work out, hey, all good.

Kind of what I'm thinking too... but UPS tracking stats are so inconsistent lol. I would have expected a departure scan... but who knows.
Guys, it’s probably on 5X61. UPS is going to prefer to fly it on their own planes so if it hasn’t left on another airline already, it’s likely going to be on theirs. 5X61 still arrives in ANC with enough time to get to SDF and your final destination on Wednesday.
You may be right but it seems strange to put it on a plane that is going to Anchorage and then remove it to let it sit for a good while.

Yeah, my AW S6 isn't on this either. My watch just has an arrival scan in Taiwan and in order to be on this flight, there has to be at least a customs clearance scan in Anchorage.

Not really. China Airlines probably charges UPS a hefty premium for carrying their cargo. Maybe UPS just didn’t have any available capacity out of PVG so they had to pay another airline to get the cargo to TPE so it can be loaded on a UPS plane.
This is a company that optimizes their delivery routes to avoid left turns. I’m sure they know what the most cost effective way is to get a package from there to here.
I just paid $5 to have mine delivered Sept 22nd instead of 23rd, why not, right? If it’s not already in the air to ANC on CAL5244 it won’t be here by the 22nd anyway.
5X61 hasn’t even left TPE yet. There’s still several hours for the customs clearance to take place. Probably will happen while you’re sleeping.
Heh we did the same thing. Even if it doesn't happen, at least it was only $5. lol. Here is to hoping they're in the air!
