I found my final flight. This one lines up perfectly!

My thoughts:
  • I stand corrected. I was incorrect about UPS's tracking system lagging behind (at least for my AW S6).
  • I thought my AW already arrived in Louisville because a lot of AW that had the same "2:00am Departure Scan" from Jiaxing, CN, had different scans than mine.
  • It looks like my AW remained in Anchorage, while the other AW's in the 2:00am group already departed and arrived in Louisville ahead of me!
  • It looks like my watch is scheduled to once again, arrive ahead of time (as per Apple's very conservative 9/28 estimated delivery date).
  • As the saying goes, under promise and over deliver. Classic Apple.

Im a bit confused. I ordered on 17.09. via the Apple Store App where it still tells me delivery 7.10. to Germany

In email from Apple from 21.9. delivery said to be 01.10
And in the tracking provided there with DHL it told me estimated delivery yesterday 22.09. and now it jumped to today.
but the status is still Shipment information received location Netherlands
without any movement...

@Clarke_G and all other Europeans waiting for their watches to leave Incheon, I think our watches will be loaded on UPS12 (5X12) that is currently on its way from Dubai to Incheon. It will land at Incheon in about 6 and a half ours, which will give our watches plenty of time to make it. It's the flight that goes from Cologne, Dubai and Incheon. Trying to find the return flight number.

This is the one: UPS12 - Flightradar24, UPS12 - Flightaware

My import scan at SDF was at 11:06pm, either they are lagging behind or they were split up at ANC into many flights

Ah, yes, that could also be another possibility, splitting the cargo from Taiwan into many different Louisville-bound flights...

And the evidence supports this supposition too:

  • There are more flights PANC > KSDF than there were from PVG > PANC (via TPE)!
  • I think you are right on the $$$. Since the bottleneck was at PANC, UPS waited for more Apple pallets to arrive at PANC and then flight them out to KSDF, instead of doing it right after the PVG flight arrived and sending the pallet off to KSDF on the next available flight.
  • Logistical scale such as this is quite fascinating, IMHO.

Ordered on Friday the 18th to Norway and got that same estimated delivery (first 1st to 6th, and since that it's been saying the 6th).

And I also have it "stuck" on Processing (although Yesterday, for a brief moment it was Preparing... then went back to Processing, I think it was when they charged my card).

Same here. My credidcard was charged yesterday morning and the whole day long the status was "preparing..". In the evening it changed back to processing...

Same for every European who gets their watch from Eindhoven. DHL can’t know when you’ll get your watch until Apple has handed over the parcels.

Apple website tells me delivery Friday 25th, Apple Store app says Monday 28th, DHL said 21st until 22:00 but now it just says “estimated delivery date unavailable”.

Extremely annoying, I don’t think I’ll get this watch before they release the Series 7.

Damn...Small 🌎. What r u close to
What did they screw up? No one’s screwed up until Apple’s estimated delivery date passes.
With Covid and so many people ordering things online instead of shopping in person it is not as bad as I thought it might be. Hope the iPhone launch goes okay. Hoping for the best anyway....

Unfortunate we couldn't have the watch turned on and tracking / relaying their position to us this whole time, maybe in the future. the flight from SDF-CLT has departed, no update from UPS, but we'll find out around 6am if it'll be delivered today. OK, UPS updated with 4:35am departure from SDF, we’re all good for today. Hope the rest of the 2:00am group is all departing from SDF this morning
