Big true. upgraded from the SS model 0. The wallet hit this time was a lot more favorable.
I expected to get way more out of the model 0 than I did, I should had went with aluminum then.
The body and battery held up 100% but holy crap a dual core hamster would smoke it.

Stores that are open usually do. I’ve gone that route twice before. Just check the site around 8am and you should see stock show up. Unless Apple does away with in store pickups on Friday. It’s Covid though, so who knows?

Where I am there are no reservation and pick ups (because of Covid and managing queues and time slots etc) but stock will be available to walk in. Not sure if that applies globally but knowing how cautious Apple Stores have been it wouldn't surprise me.

If you choose some new, non-regular watchnand it will delay your watch delivery. Im getting my SS this friday with silicone band. If I wanten to choose some new band it was 7-8 WEEKS.

Exactly. Just ordered my blue 44mm watch with a regular sport armband in dark blue and the delivery date is 22-24 Sept. When I tried to get the same model with a braided solo loop band, delivery was expected on 12-18 November. I want the watch now. I can always get another band later on.

I personally thank COVID for me being prepared this year. The uncertainty with society and jobs really taught me proper money management techniques because you never know whats going to happen.

I hear that brother, I personally cleared up all my debt and sitting on 5 digit savings now. May not be a lot for some people, but I learned a similar lesson during these different times.

Canceled my initial order 44mm aluminium Space Grey ordered right After the keynote. Today I placed a new order to the SS graphite instead with black sportband (shortest waiting time) Shorter delivery than my first order, arrives Tuesday next week. Sweden.

I’ve gone for a 44mm Graphite SS with the old Leather loop and ordered a Milanese loop as well - I couldn’t decide between these!

Hoping as it’s preparing to ship it’ll be with me before 24th! Milanese loop will be here Friday though.

I’m upgrading from an aluminium S3 which I love but time for an upgrade for sure as I’ve had this one since launch.

First I ordered the Hermès 44mm SS with deployment buckle. Then cancelled it cause I decided to get the 44mm Hermes SBSS like my Series 5. I ended up ordering the Noir deployment buckle separately because I just can’t pass that up. Will be selling my Noir band if anyone is interested. I still have my unworn Noir band from my series 5. Hoping my shipping dates move up cause I sold my Hermes 44mm series 5 to a forum member and I need to ship that out.

This time I ordered the Series 6 GPS, 44mm Space Grey Aluminium with Black Sport Band. I usually get the Silver Aluminium, so this will be a nice change. I think it will look great with my Surf Blue Sport Loop. Delivery is supposed to be this Friday. Current status is processing.

Going from Series 3 to Series 6. I went for the 44mm Space Gray Aluminum with Charcoal Braided Solo. I got Sept 25-29. Not surprising as the combinations are endless, especially now adding in band size. I'll wait another week instead of having to buy another band. Looks like I should be able to sell my gray ceramic for 300-600 on ebay. Not sure why they are pulling such a broad range. I'm done with the nicer models. They are adding enough features that I don't care to keep buying the case. I wish they had a way to upgrade the internals and keep the case.

sept 25th to sept 29th is not that far i guess, Time Flies. But me personally thinking to attempt to grab AW6 on launch day from the Apple store near me because for me sept 25th to 29th is way too long a wait, actually its unacceptable. Time does not fly like that.

I ordered 6 hours after the event. I'm surprised many who order early have nearly the same shipping times. Bummer that the (PRODUCT)RED braided loop was not available yet. Its looks pretty nice with the silver case.
