FYI the Best Buy site they will ship ON Sept 18; not "deliver by Sept 18"

OTOH Best Buy regularly delivers on Sat and Sun.

True, I've always found they have very fast shipping though

My problem is Best Buy is charging $50 more for some odd reason and they won't price match it since it's a preorder...

Best Buy has them for pre-order, yet t-mobile does not..

Ordered mine this morning Blue Aluminum w/ Blue Sport Band, Cellular and GPS. Delivery Oct. 1-8. Hopefully it will be sooner.

Says it’ll arrive on the 28th but I am absolutely certain it’ll be here long before that.

(don’t judge me on the strap; I’m giving my S4 to my partner and she’ll take the new strap)

My wife’s blue with blue sport band is preparing to ship, and my space gray with black sport band hasn’t gotten to prepare to ship yet. Both are scheduled to be delivered Friday.

Mine went to "Preparing to Ship" overnight as well. AW6 Silver Titanium - 44mm- Sept 29-Oct 1

false alarm. I thought it was for my watch, but since I purchased more than one item, that other item will be here on the 18th not the watch itself. Bummer, my mistake. Sorry guys

Ordered a Series 6, GPS, 40mm Gold Aluminum with Pink Sand Sport Band w/Apple Care for my wife with a delivery date of Friday, Sept. 18 (a nice upgrade from here series 3) 🙂
and a 44mm Obsidian Mist/Black Nike Sport Band for my Series 4 for delivery on Friday as well 😉

It’s the band that’s causing the delay in release not the watch itself. Btw very nice watch...

Past experiences with Apple. Order shows a later date but then magically item is processed and shipped with a much earlier delivery date. Assumption is Apple’s delivery time algorithm is very conservative and plays it safe to the point it gives out inaccurate estimates.
