I was thinking the same Kashmirkroc when I saw that comment. I was like, I am an apple fan like the rest but that isnt important when real issues need to be addressed. I would gladly get a delayed AW if it meant people could continue to peacefully protest and or be safe from a tropical storm.

Reminds me of the time someone on another forum I was on around the time the iPhone 4 launched. A user actually emailed Steve Jobs to complain about something with the phone. He actually got a reply with Steve basically saying relax its just a phone lol.

Not being a jerk here though. I know what duelshock was trying to do, so its cool.

My choice of words was poor, and I apologize for that if anyone misinterpreted them and I meant no disrespect. I am absolutely in favor of protests when there are social injustices that occur, and as we know, unfortunately there have been many social injustices lately.

I was just making a general observation that there were protests going on in the area, and that they do occasionally disrupt the normal flow of things. Same with respect to the tropical storm, bad weather can disrupt flights. I was not being specific to the Apple Watch, though I'm posting in the Apple Watch shipping thread so I can see how that may be misunderstood.

My watch as arrived in Las Vegas as suggested! So close!!!! What a journey!!!

Awesome mine is out for delivery as I type this. BUT I am at work today until 5PM. I may go back home during my lunch break and put it in the house. Don't want it to sit on the porch all day long ( and it's suppose to rain some as well).

It was in Alaska last night. Went through KY overnight and departed Richmond LUT for delivery.

Same fellow Virginia/ Hampton Roads resident. Our watches are probably on the same delivery truck ha.

My AW is on schedule for delivery today! After days of seeing no movement in Shanghai it cleared customs yesterday and then somehow made it to Kentucky without ever being scanned departing China, in Alaska, or clearing customs here - so those of you waiting without scans have faith! This beats by 4 days the window (9/29-10/1) promised at delivery.

So it just went from Richmond, passed me by and arrived at Newport News. Now it has to come back up the peninsula.

Ordered my 44mm blue watch with blue sports band 12 hours ago, hope it doesn’t get stuck at processing order for to long, Have a 2-3 week delivery window.

Also want to purchase a braided band, don’t want to risk ordering The wrong size, then run around returning it, hopefully lockdown ends soon so I can go into a apple store check out the colors and buy the right size.

Doubt they’ll have stock though 6-8 week online at the moment 🤦‍♂️🥺😂

Look on the bright side at least you have one watch coming today. 😜
Exactly. I wonder why they're so low on stock for that particular band? They must've known it would be popular. It's the biggest departure from the current iterations of watch bands they've ever had. Plus bundling it with an AW makes it only $50 which is a no brainer if that's the band you're set on.

In my case, I wanted to try the new blue color AW and solo (either type) bands, but the only combo available was blue AW with braided loop that didn't ship until middle of November! So I ordered two, fully intending to return one. Plus when you add in the confusion about the band sizing, who knows, I might end up returning both! ;(

It seems the folks in China, Alaska, and Louisville kicked it into high gear last night. Seems like lots of people are getting theirs today. Don't know what promoted the quick turn around but it was appreciated ha.
Thank god! We’re not waiting till Monday.
