Is UPS using China Cargo for extra lift?
For those with watches in Shanghai, this could be our flight out. Not sure yet. Not many other flights to Anchorage in the next 24 hours, which is why I say this might be it.
Could also go to Tokyo or Seoul but those are rare. But with the virus, who knows.

My watch arrived in Alaska at 12:36pm today.

Making good progress after being dispatched earlier today. Made it through customs and will be heading over to Scotland over the weekend. Getting it on Tuesday would be my best guess, Wednesday at the latest.
Just picked mine up from an Apple store here in LA. The Blue is beautiful. The new loop band is interesting. Will see if it grows on me. But it feels nice. Did curbside pickup here and it was the easiest product pickup ever. Drove up, someone came over and got my info and 5 minutes later I had my watch. No I’m not sitting here all weekend waiting for my new watch to arrive!!
Is it a snug fit? Can you easily lift up the watch face with the band on? Have you tested SPO2 with the band?
FedEx shows “Delivery Exception” and my watch will not arrive today. I hope I do not have to sign because no one will be here Monday. I was home all day for this and they messed me up.
It’s a decently snug fit. I can lift the watch face but it still feels like it’s sitting snug on my wrist. I’ve tried the pulse ox three times. The middle reading didn’t work but the other two did. I think it’s how you position your arm as well while its doing the reading.
My blue 44 GPS model is still pending preparing to ship, but I did just get my braided loop, and unfortunately it is too big. I could make it work, but I’d rather have the right size. So I have to return it and order a new one, then wait till November for it to get here 😩
I got the blue too and it is gorgeous, it's totally midnight blue. I know it won't go with as many bands but for me personally that isn't an issue as I don't swap them out that much anyway.

I took the time I planned to setup my watch to order some bands. Some from Meridio, some from Apple. Everything should come in the next week.
Watch is still sitting at “Preparing”. They need a better word for it. If I took 4 days to just prepare something at work, I’d get the boot! 🤣

I was wondering that also. I have a P(r) 11. I imagine it’s the same finish.
Ordered mine right after presentation and got a September 29 delivery date. It is still in the preparing to ship phase. Went online this morning and reserved one at the local Apple store with no problem. Picked up with no wait time.
What does this actually mean “pending preparing to ship” We’re getting ready to ship your order. We’ll email you the delivery information once it ships.” specially having this wording for the last 3 to 4 days 😜
Haven't seen either but I bet it does. Someone mentioned on Twitter that the red solo band is a much more saturated red than the previous gen and the Red 11 definitely was.

I ordered a solo loop and a watch 6. The band came today and the watch will be here next week, maybe Monday. I like the solo loop. luckily I measured correctly. Very comfortable and I never liked the look of the band I was using, the leather loop. I didn’t like the side with the loop, didn’t look nice to me. I'm very happy with it.
It simply means the watch is getting ready to enter shipping mode. Apple is finalizing payment and putting your order into the shipping queue.
