I’ve taken my iphone back to local Apple store after I stupidly ordered a smaller memory than I should have. Returned it still in the box got refund and they had same with more memory on hand. This all happened 2nd day the phones were out.
Once you have your local watch in hand and are satisfied, you can initiate a return online via Apple website to return the other watch, once it arrives.
Mine shipped about two hours ago! Still in China though.
Apple still says September 25-29 but UPS doesn’t have an estimated date. It was shipped with UPS Saver so I can’t imagine it taking that long. Thinking possibly by next Wednesday.

People from Europe with DHL Express any update? On DHL tracking website only report "Shipment information received" (Eindhoven-Netherlands) -they haven't it yet- and Apple says is shipped since thursday morning.

I ordered the same model albeit with a different sport loop and mine cost more. I don’t see why it should.Mine changed to shipped too. Same as Conan. Same delivery window to GA (USA). Nothing on UPS yet.

For us whose watches have been sitting in Shanghai since yesterday, I think we are waiting for the watches that are just now getting shipped. Hopefully we can still all get them by Monday.
Good on Apple for honoring your service. More companies need to do that.

Hello, new member here. Waiting impatiently form my watch to move from preparing to ship to shipped status. I ordered on Wednesday afternoon. Our local Apple stores are closed (TN), and Best Buy doesn't have anything but the sport bands. I've never ordered directly from Apple before, but reading this thread gives me hope I will receive my watch before the expected delivery dates of Sept. 28 to Oct. 1.
