Has anybody in the 9/30 - 10/2 range seen movement?

If we see movement tonight or tomorrow could we still get them Monday?

Probably no movement until tomorrow is my guess, and yes can still make Monday, everything just needs to go right. Goes to Alaska, and as long as in Louisville by tomorrow night midnight, goes from Louisville to all around the county and out for delivery Monday.

The word “Exception” bugs me.
The words "exception" and "tentative" are shipping industry code words for "delayed" or later than you expected.

I agree, though with past launches I've seen it before where UPS still manages to get it delivered on time. We will see though... either way I think it is likely it'll arrive before the 9/25-9/28 estimated window from the time of purchase.

For folks with tracking showing Shanghai and for folks with tracking showing awaiting receipt in Jiashan, the watches may be going out on UPS 81, which departs Shanghai in just under 6 hours (https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS81).
Awesome!! Mine finally updated to shipping at 6 this morning. It’s also coming out of Jiashan. I was in the 9/25-9/29 range originally too.

I ordered two watches on separate orders. When I ordered them I wasn't given an option for type of delivery, however, when I look at the order details one shows "Standard Delivery" and the other shows "Express Delivery". Does anyone know what this means?

Come on Apple, Getting tired of being one of the first ones to purchase a new Apple product online only to have my local Apple store have the product on launch day while my online order is still “preparing to ship”. Exactly the case with the Apple Watch. Yesterday, launch day, I had in my hands exactly what I ordered within an hour of the store opening while my online order status was still preparing to ship. What’s the incentive to purchase online? Come on Apple, no way to treat loyal customers. By the way, as I sit here typing this, my order status has changed to shipped and will now arrive on September 28. Really?

Exactly the same story I had. Ordered it online within the first hour of the website going live with the new products, and come launch day was able to buy it at the local Apple Store while my original order was still "Preparing to Ship" . Today, I get a text message and an email from Apple stating my watch shipped and it should be delivered on 9/28. By that time I will have had my watch 10 days already. No more pre-ordering for me.

2 of my local Apple Stores are re-opening today (just outside Portland, OR -- the downtown one remains closed) but I guess they didn't get any inventory as I can't seem to order for pickup :(
