It’s a looooong story! Since we’re traveling together, we got time...lol
It should be a good looking watch. My wife is getting the SS Gold with the gold milanese band, but there's no movement on it yet. Apple says it arrives Oct 1-8. That means I'll be going through this waiting and tracking twice. Twice the fun!

Mine’s the same but I don’t think we’ll make it for today’s flight. No scan at Shanghai yet and flight leaves in over an hour. Still hoping!
The shipment from Jiaxing has been gone for an hour. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s already there. Someone posted it’s only 53 miles away.

It was probably (speculating here) some sort of bulk scan -- they didn't scan our packages individually -- and they are at the airport either waiting to be loaded or loaded. Once it's in motion there would be no reason to sit on it. It will make that leg to Anchorage and then arrive in KY just before noon Sunday. From there it breaks out to wherever.

Still has to go thru processing and sort. Load airplane about 1.5 hrs prior. I hope it makes it tho; if not tomorrow.
I ordered a 44mm, blue watch case with navy blue band, non-GSM online within minutes right after event last week.
UPS and delivery ETA is 9/28.
But, was able to order another unit ( had to go for a GSM one, they did not have non-GSM in stock for pickup) and picked up at local store at Rockaway, NJ today 😊.
Can’t wait to unbox later today 😎!!

I mean Vegas is opening bars this weekend. So hopefully Apple stores would be next?
Yeah it’s weird. Here in California, I live 10 mins from an Apple Store. Almost every store was doing pickups in a 100 mile radius except for the store next to me. Why?
Oh well, I knew if I ordered online that I’d get it a week or two after the stores but ... it is special times, I do have a functioning Apple Watch, and it’s a lot of fun to track these things with the rest of y’all.
If you are in the U.S., you will get your watch sooner than expected, seeing how it is GPS aluminum.
Seeing as how we are not under a total lockdown here in Texas, it must be Apple that is determining which stores will be opened or closed. What parameters Apple is using is a bit of a mystery.
