Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders began minutes ago and some configurations are already facing extended delivery estimates into November on Apple's online store in the United States, including some aluminum and stainless steel options.

Some customers have expressed their frustration that Apple did not provide more details on Series 7 configurations and pricing prior to pre-orders beginning, forcing some people to decide which model they wanted to purchase in the heat of the moment. For customers who did not manage to pre-order their desired Apple Watch for launch day delivery, some configurations will likely be available for Apple Store pickup on launch day.

Apple Watch Series 7 pricing starts at $399 for aluminum models, $699 for stainless steel models, and $799 for titanium models. Apple has finally updated its Apple Watch Studio page that helps with choosing a case, size, and band, and the Apple Watch comparison page is also now updated to reflect the Series 7's tech specs.

Apple Watch Series 7 will begin arriving to customers and launch in stores on Friday, October 15.

Apple: Apple Watch Team really dropped the ball this year! Not going to lie. Please get it together for next year and try again!!!

This is just sad! Sad to say… Expecting Apple watches to be delayed till December. Any Space Black Titanium AW was able to get a promised launch date from the beginning?

It’s a hot mess, 😂

Just to clarify! I’m not upset my Apple Watch got a little delayed I’m more upset about Apple how they decided to take this pre-order approach by staying very quiet. Staying very low and being shady. It’s not fair to the consumers. Above all we are paying $$$ to them. I hope next year Apple makes it easier and implements it like a launch of an iPhone.

In Canada (Vancouver) my friend wasn't able to order the variation he wanted. I was able to thankfully. In the end, he changed it up slightly and will get one next Friday :) .

Seems the Titanium models don‘t even have a shipping date and are straight „unavailable“. At least in the German store… :(

I had a delay in the store going live, but still managed to breeze through checkout. Nonetheless, I'm all the way in November. 🥲

Mine jumped straight to November :-(

This is ridiculous. Some models are even showing ‘unavailable’ giving no option to even buy it. Was considering buying one, but Im going to take this as a sign that I should wait until next year.

The fact Apple gave no info until today tells me all i need to know. I will keep my S4 and get the S8 next year

Go figure. The one year I was going to finally make the jump to a stainless steel model and there is no availability. Not even a delayed date.

I ended up going with a starlight aluminum w/ chalk leather link. I’m still happy with my selection and I’ll take this as a sign that I wasn’t meant to drop $800 on this watch. Maybe next year.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I ordered the SS for pickup on 15th and then realised in the heat of the moment that I selected the wrong loop size. Nevermind, can't cancel now. SS not showing availability for pickup and into November for delivery.

It's my fault but surely Apple should have a feature that remembers the last loop size you bought? I'm not messing about going into my order history when its 'fastest finger first'.

It's the same in the United States. I don't even know how Apple is going to keep up with iPhone 14 Titanium models, SMH!

Weird, I ordered a titanium with 'create your style' and a different band at 12 minutes into ordering and got Nov 2. In Canada FWIW.

I ordered 2x 45" Stainless with sports loop and I have November 2-9 ship date. I wonder if I line up in store on launch day will they have in store stock to buy same day.

Having to mess with the sizes during ordering is a bit annoying. On the bright side I do think for a few years now the watch and band come in separate boxes but then packaged together right? I do think Apple is good about exchanging the band only.

Actually what would be really nice, is if they allowed ordering of the case only. But of course they have the retail price of all these bands built in now, and its easy money.

same. ordered the 45mm Titanium black w/ tornado/gray sport loop about 2-3 minutes in, with a delivery est Nov 2nd-9th.

I'm in for the 45mm (Product)Red with (Product)Red braided solo loop with store pick-up on Friday, 10/15. I could have gone with shipping for delivery on 10/28 but given the way deliveries have been around my area lately, I didn't want to take any chances. I ordered a size 9 for the band, as that's what my size is in the regular solo loop. I know this year's model is mostly iterative, but I love the look of the display now expanding out to the edges. Plus, I keep telling myself I am contributing a little something towards a very worthy charity, (Product)Red. Yeah, I know I could have just made a direct contribution to them, but that would defeat my (il)logic, lol.

I agree with all of those who have expressed frustration that all the product pricing details were not made available until the pre-order launch went live.
