Apple Watch Series 7 Already Facing November Delivery for Some Models

It should make it possible to buy a watch without a band. May be for the environment

Why do I have to pay money for new band with each upgrade when I still continue to use the old one?

Seems the Titanium models don‘t even have a shipping date and are straight „unavailable“. At least in the German store…

I went straight to the Nike watches this time; no band or case supply issues there.

I've had the Nike watches up to the last one. I love the Nike watch faces - big, bold and some unique colours unavailable in the other versions. I really like the new Nike bounce and will miss these when my  Watch Sports series 7 arrives - really wanted a blue casing. I think Nike watches use to have some fitness apps that weren't available in the Sports. The Nike bands have air holes so one can run faster which is useful when Tomás Cantillo says, "Bounce!"

Apple Store App was functional on 10 pm whereas website took about 14 minutes longer to come online. Blue casing with English lavender sports solo loop resulted in a 2 - 4 week delay. My female partner ordered this morning (Saturday) the same blue case but a navy clasp band and hers will arrive sooner. It appears blue 45 mm with mobile functionality is about to commence production and as solo bands have many sizes, it causes the delay. One of the blue sports bands was unavailable to add to the basket. Bands that are suitable for all sized wrists and some models / coloured watches will be more readily available. Us early adopters were not too slow.

I ordered mine 28 minutes after pre-orders opened and my friend ordered his within the first 30 seconds of preorders opening. Both of us have estimates of Nov 3rd - Nov 10th.

Seems there's just not that many already produced if at all.

I ordered the minute preorders came up for in store pickup. It’s still showing as available on launch. But it does seem like Apple started producing these super late. I’ve never seen it sell out so fast. Maybe the first series? (I’ve had them all)

Ooh that’s a nice present. I once had the gold SS with a later purchase of gold Milanese but unfortunately that was back when gold was a weird brown color instead of real gold. Someday I’d like to have gold SS again in actual gold! For now, I’m excited about the new starlight aluminum color.

Yeah I'm kind of worried the gold milanese loop won't look good, or match the watch. My first choice was one of the leather bands, but it was weird as they didn't seem available. I will just have to take it on faith as I don't want to open the seal, and she won't see it until Xmas. Oh well, worst case she can buy a separate band.

I was just informed by Apple that you can't order any Apple Watch that is not in stock. If the band isn't in stock you can't place an order for delivery later. If the case isn't in stock you can't place an order.

In other words, if the combo you want isn't "in stock" don't bother trying to order, because you can't.

Chatted with two different reps to this effect.

Coming from S4 Space black Stainless steel case and wanting to get equivalent then I found this ugly thing for 1400$
I mean it's classic elegant finish why to pair with hideous band..

Here in UK I can order a 45mm S7 Nike, and get it delivered around 15 November

Or I collect it in store on 15 October

The delivery date was 18 just because I change the default band, with default band it was showing 15th at the time of my order

The watch is shipped and expected to arrive early on the launch day itself

I received it on launch day. The extra size definitely helps make it more useful as does the fast charging which is significantly noticeable.

The extra brightness when wrist down is often appreciated too.

For some apps and some watch faces not designed to take use of the extra screen though - no difference at all. (Over a series 6).
