Apple Watch Series 7 Already Facing November Delivery for Some Models

They are probably questioning your case/band combination and sending it up the ladder for review.
***Guys, this was expected, its not Apple's fault China is having rolling black-outs, there is low chip inventory and high demand on products, so don't be surprised if things get worse before they get better***
Basically I got confused with pre-order - too many choice and the date slip too far!

got a titanium one (45mm) for the 9th of November - due to a business meeting I was a little bit late for the partySeems the Titanium models don‘t even have a shipping date and are straight „unavailable“. At least in the German store…
$585 usd but I feel like us items in aus always more expensive. I used to sell bridge luxury goods to folks visiting from there and our product even pre supply chain crisis and covid was double.
I managed to get online right as the store went live. Ordered the 45mm Stainless with a Product Red band. Was completely checked out with my Apple Card by 7:06 am CDT. My delivery date is Nov 2-9. How on earth did anyone actually get it for release day?
Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders began minutes ago and some configurations are already facing extended delivery estimates into November on Apple's online store in the United States, including some aluminum and stainless steel options.
Some customers have expressed their frustration that Apple did not provide more details on Series 7 configurations and pricing prior to pre-orders beginning, forcing some people to decide which model they wanted to purchase in the heat of the moment. For customers who did not manage to pre-order their desired Apple Watch for launch day delivery, some configurations will likely be available for Apple Store pickup on launch day.
Apple Watch Series 7 pricing starts at $399 for aluminum models, $699 for stainless steel models, and $799 for titanium models. Apple has finally updated its Apple Watch Studio page that helps with choosing a case, size, and band, and the Apple Watch comparison page is also now updated to reflect the Series 7's tech specs.
Apple Watch Series 7 will begin arriving to customers and launch in stores on Friday, October 15.

I went straight to the Nike watches this time; no band or case supply issues there.
Most of the models and configurations were never available for launch day. No one is getting a stainless model delivered before November. What a crock.

Yeah, for me I knew exactly what I narrowed down to so I got one and I was having a hard time finding the other combo.Basically I got confused with pre-order - too many choice and the date slip too far!

so I purchased that quick with intent of going back. Found filter and still had 1015 (I’m fast) but not the combo I wanted. Contemplated a bit and it slipped to November.
Exactly why specs are helpful PRIOR to the launch. No dice.
I tested this out this morning. First off the website wasn't available at 8:08am on my iMac.
Went to app, that was working - as usual...before the desktop.
Now choose what you want color, size...which band if you want OR choose something else when it comes to band/style/color. LOT of options when you go back and look at it. titanium looked like it was only an option if you hit "Customize your style"
Now a trade in (if needed)
Get through all that, no wonder many missed next weeks 10/15 date - orders won't show up for the next 3-4+ weeks.
The option to customize exactly what you want 24 hours ago (yesterday) and save it for this morning should have been launched.
Then again, specs...all of the details of prices, that wasn't there yesterday also. The pre-order for this 7, not hyped that much -- and seemed much harder for those who really wanted this upgrade.
Apple failed with this pre-order process in my opinion.

did anyone see a doc about the watch charge rates (other than +33%)? I assume I was supposed to order the 20w brick?
Same. Perhaps they will send them earlier than indicated, sometimes this has already happened before

I was able to order the stainless steel for launch day pickup, didn’t check when would be the delivery date though.

The delivery date was 18 just because I change the default band, with default band it was showing 15th at the time of my order

Conversion USD to AUD, 10% GST, import tax, Apple probably charge Australians more because our Government insists on Apple extending warranties more than one year.
