iPad: harder to pick up off the table than the older tapered / teardrop models.

Have you ever tried to pick up an IPad Air 3 when it happens to be lying face down on a desk or smooth surface? Not that it happens often but it does happen and it’s impossible to pick up without long fingernails or sliding a piece of paper underneath. I’m not a super fan of either squared edges or round edges other than to say a square edge iphone is MUCH less slippery than a round edge. My iPhone 4s felt much more secure in my hand than my 8.

I wish Apple would release a Casio G-Shock style version of the watch. Rugged design meant to take abuse.

My G-Shock is nearly indestructible; I accidentally bang it on things all the time in my day to day work and it still looks flawless many years later. There should be an Apple Watch for people who are hard on watches.
Agreed. A friend of mine got a “G Shock-style” case for his AW, but it doesn’t work as well as you’d hope. That said, my AW Stainless Steel has held up better than I would’ve thought — I’m brutal on watches too.

The only thing that would entice me to buy a design like this is a MAJOR battery improvement. I mean multiple days. Otherwise, this clone better be way off...

Clones of popular Apple products are commonly made in China, often in the hopes of duping customers into thinking that they are the real thing. The issue is so widespread that Apple has a team whose sole focus is to crack down on counterfeit products and prevent them from being sold.
When you say ‘team’ you mean law firm on retainer right?

It looks beautiful. Love the flatter edge design.

It looks more RICHER, ELEGANT, and CLASSY.

Update: All of you disagreeing and saying the Watch itself is ugly... Trust and believe...You will stay up late and you will be ordering the new Apple Watch and I will see ya'll on a pre-ordering night ;)
The thickness to surface radio can be improved. They can make it larger and thinner.

Wow on the clone. But I think I found the original clone of the future Apple Watch 8!

On a stainless 4 now with cracked glass; simply waiting for the 7 to replace. However, if this is close to what they’ll look like, I’ll be buying a stainless 6 on closeout unless there’s a genuine “can’t live without it” feature, which I’m highly doubtful of. Not a fan at all of these squared off edges. The current one already looks very techy; this boxy look is far too much of a reminder that I’m wearing a computer on my wrist, but not in a good way.

Get ya'll credit card ready!!!
I like the design but I hope it isn't as thick as these images shown. The flat edges are nice :)

This is pretty ugly.
Thats what you said about the iPhone 5 glass windows, the iPhone 6, the antenna lines, the notch, the round camera bump, the square camera bump, and I guarantee you still bought at least one of those... if not multiple.
