Apple's embargo on reviews of the Apple Watch Series 7 has now lifted ahead of the first devices arriving with customers on Friday, giving the first hands-on looks at the company's latest flagship smartwatch. In addition to our detailed review roundup, we have gathered together a number of unboxing videos and reviews of the new device.

The key new features of the Apple Watch Series 7 include a larger display with significantly reduced borders, larger casing sizes with more rounded edges, improved durability, faster charging with a new fast-charging USB-C cable, and the S7 chip. There are also a range of new color options for the aluminum models, including Midnight, Starlight, Green, as well as a tweaked Blue and (PRODUCT)RED.

Wow! I love how bright the APple Watch 7 is. These reviewers sound like they are reading a script, LOL!
Wouldn’t surprise be one bit if Apple sends pre-approved scripts/talking points along with these devices.

That being said, I did order an S7 and I’m super hyped for it. But these YouTubers are nothing but corporate shills.

I agree. These unboxing videos are for general public who doesn’t know about MacRumors. All the video sounds like they are reading a script. They are carefully using the words that will excite people to order the Apple Watch. You are right the script/talking points are probably written by some writer at Apple or some marketing team.

The real reviews are from the general public… people like you and me.

I don’t have an Apple Watch, but that larger screen on the AW7 looks really nice in the review videos. It’s approaching having a screen on your wrist, which I really like. If I get a watch, it will be an SE as I don’t need one, but the 7 is tempting.

Think I'm gonna upgrade from my AW3. Going to NYC tomorrow, didn't preorder, hopefully I can snag one on launch day. Still a little sad about the color options, but will go with Midnight.

I'm sure she's a super nice person, but iJustine for me is the most irritating YouTuber out there that talks about Apple products. If you like her I'm not knocking you for that, but to me she is the absolute worst.

She is Tim Cook’s pet. Think of it as a teachers pet. I’m pretty sure Apple is paying her under the table or something. She will never have anything bad to say about Apple. When the whole CSAM was unfolding with Apple iJustine and other YouTubers disappeared real quick. Go figure!

Yeah its completely unwatchable for me. I just don’t get her appeal, but to each their own.

That’s why Rene has been defending the Series 7 on Twitter.

I can't watch Rene anymore . He finds every excuse possible for Apple product design no matter how controversial.

I can't stand the guy, he's such a sheep and does everything possible to kiss ass so that he gets early product reviews.

His defending of the iOS 15 iCloud scanning stuff on twitter was truly disgraceful even when told he was wrong on his "facts", he just ran away.

His teenager clickbait thumbnails are also pathetic.

At least Justine knows her role as Tims pet and is pretty open about it, Rene pretends to be a real reporter.
