- Longer battery life
- Thinner case
- Smaller bezel
- ~42 mm intermediate size case (eg. 40, 42.5, 45)
- Don’t waste money, effort, and space adding useless inaccurate features like O2 measurement

- Longer battery
- thinner bezel / larger screen on same 44mm case
- or 44mm screen size on 42mm body
- lower profile sensor bump

- Battery life!
- A button to enter menus confirm choices etc (so it works properly with gloves)
- I like the 42mm suggestion

I’d say better battery along with the usual. I would not want a much thinner case. I’m used to regular watches that have a bit of heft. I would like to see apple experiment with a round version at some point.

1. Bigger battery
2. Blood pressure monitoring
3. Smart band with ability to reflect O2 saturation beams back to watch to
improve accuracy and consistency (reason it isn't as accurate as finger)
I'm fine with the thickness as it's as thick or thinner than most traditional watches I wear.

Outside of the usual incremental updates (e.g. better battery life, processor improvements, new health sensors, larger screen, smaller casing), I'm not actually sure what I want out of a new Apple watch. Most of the room for improvement is on the software side of things. One thing that drives me a little crazy is media playback - it would be great if the now playing 'widget' could control audio from my iPad!

. improved battery life
, modified design (I don't care about thinner)
. 200m water resistance so it can be used for diving (it would make one hell of a diving computer)
. new health sensors. Though anything that requires FDA approval should not go into the watch as it would take too much time to release, so ... see next bullet
. smart band connector - to put sensors that require FDA approval there vs the watch, watch will just be the interface
. do not follow the path of AirPods Max and keep it AFFORDABLE

just better battery life...not sure it needs to really improve on too much but will welcome any other features.

maybe open watch faces to 3rd parties? so we have more choice

-battery life and more battery life
-deeper workout metrics (heart rate zones etc.)
-additional external sensor support (speed/cadence, foot pods)
-always on heart rate monitor
-broadcast heart rate to other devices
-improved gps tracks-get rid of the artificial smoothing
-show gps signal strength
-show total calories (active+resting)
-native ski/snowboard tracking (with gps)
Basically I want the functionality of a Garmin Fenix and the slick UI and ease of use of the Apple Watch. I can dream I guess..

I've currently got a series 4 watch. So things on the series 6 would be handy- AOD and compass. But other things that aren't on the series 6 that I'd like on the series 7 include:

-longer battery life (though tbh I'm happy with my series 4 battery life)
-able to use the watch speaker for listening to podcasts, radio, audiobooks
-simple camera for scanning barcodes eg for checking food content, price comparisons etc
-on the software side: more complications, for all screen layouts (eg the "now playing" play/pause available in the corners as a toggle).

SoC - 3NM !
^ this will help significantly with battery life improvements.
New battery technology (graphite based I can only hope)
New API‘s for security based on heart rate, Vo2 micro detection.

If thinner than current S4/5/S6 then give us new bands with larger screen sizes (up to 50mm) and less bezels.

Bring back Force-Touch/3D touch! If Haptic Touch is anything like iOS has ruined on Force-Touch enabled iPhones, then I’m not sure I’ll purchase an S6 just yet. I’ve owned S3 and S4 Nike+ models.

More efficient Maps implementation and ability to store pre-downloaded maps with local content and routes!
^ downloaded from macOS, iOS, and iPadOS please!

Rings ... a better explanation of just how calories, fats and other macros are used/detected or calculated. I feel this critical function is still lost on a LOT of Apple Watch users.

I think longer battery life is one of the requests for almost everyone. It’s acceptable as it is, but extending it longer would allow users to take full advantage of all the features without having to worry about running out of battery before the end of the day. Additionally, it would tremendously help with sleep tracking.

Other things I’d like are:
- Better sleep tracking
- More frequent HR sampling
- Better use of HRV data for recovery
- Skin temperature sensor
- daily move goals, based on a readiness score

An unlikely move that I’d like is the option of sapphire on the aluminum models. I’d be ok with them, if they had that. Scratches annoy me so much.

I’m not upgrading until my AW4 either dies, or Apple invents a way for the Apple Watch to measure calorie intake. That would be really neat!

- External battery in bands for very long runs
- Camera for memories during runs.
- Blood pressure
- Simplified handling concept
