logging into your mac via apple watch is very very convenient. i didnt think i'd use it once i got the new M1 MBP but it just works. touchid is a good backup and when required, password is easy enough too.Do they? I mean what does Apple Watch has over things like Fitbit? I'm not that interested in apps, I would always prefer to use those on my phone. Login into mac is also not that important since introduction of touch id. What else do you think is useful?
Came here to say the sameAt what point after 1 did you buy 2 more if you thought they were bad ?
Yeah, me too. Apple's marketing photos showing the Red watch only with red bands and putting it in its own separate Apple Watch Studio configurator seem weird. It's easy enough to find images of the other aluminum colors with contrasting bands.C…but with a black band.
Never understood why Apple marketing of the colour aluminum watch had everything the same colour.
I had the same thought years ago. Went with a higher end fit bit. It broke. Did a warranty return. The next one broke. 6 months in. Bought at Apple Watch at that point. 25x the usefulness and integration (simply pinging my phone ALONE is almost worth the extra cost) and it lasted 3 years without a scratch. (I got the stainless version the first time).I wasn't that interested with smartwatches when they first surfaced, but the feature set is becoming better and better, so maybe it's the time to get one. I'm just not sure about getting Apple Watch or something simpler just for fitness.
Why do you assume they were bought at different times? He says "we" and talks about 3 watches. Likely 3 people are involved, each with 1 watch. At what point after 1 did you buy 2 more if you thought they were bad ?
That is how Apple likes to see the consumers use/wear them. This is one of the worst apple products ever. We have 3 Apple Watches, we don’t even bother to charge them anymore. We just wear them because they costed a lot of money lol

Yah. Maybe they are waiting for the “ultra maroon” colorWell, of course it isn't very useful if you're wearing it without charging it.

I’m curious why you regret Graphite. Been thinking about getting one some day.I'm hoping the Series 8 has some advancements over the Series 7 as I really regret going to graphite SS from having every other AW model in silver SS.
Because the other two weren’t mine, they were from my family and I did notice they didn’t really use them but I thought it was because they don’t work out. I do work out everyday and this thing it’s nothing but a glorified heart rate monitor, it can’t even sleep track. At what point after 1 did you buy 2 more if you thought they were bad ?
It wasn’t useful wearing it charges either. The only thing you would use it for is for notifications. 500 dollars for notifications in your wrist? GtfoWell, of course it isn't very useful if you're wearing it without charging it.
My guess is Apple will be holding back colors from launch, then in spring come out with one-two new color variations. Just makes sense to get a marketing boost for "free" and tempt users to sidegrade to a different color 6 months from now.
What features does it have? Apple can’t even put 10 useful things to do with the Watch on their website.Apple dupes many undisciplined and style conscious consumers like iPhonefan. By any standard the Apple Watch is a serious, feature rich device. And some (many?) never drill down.
You can pick your watch style and strap style at the time of purchase. But I agree that offering people the option to buy without a strap and a slight discount would be nice.
It scratches too easily and can't be polished, and it's an absolute fingerprint magnet... always looks stained and tarnished.I’m curious why you regret Graphite. Been thinking about getting one some day.
Your first sentence isn't in Apple's vocabulary either.“The watch itself starts at $999. Optional wristband available for $199.”
Careful what you wish for.
The word discount is not in Apple’s vocabulary.
