Apple Watch 'Sold Out'

Is it something wrong with me, or all SS models are sold out on the Apple Store website? Even when trying to select pickup, by zip code, all stores are showing sold out. Same is for some of the Sport models.

I'm in the UK and was shopping for a new strap a few weeks ago. Almost all the ones I was interested in were sold out.

There was some word going around that stocks may be depleting in anticipation for the Apple Watch 2 ... but who knows.

I just hope that if the Apple Watch 2 is announced, it doesn't take 2 months to get to me like last time 🙁

I just called Apple, and the guy told me that they are all indeed sold out in all of the NYC stores.

Rumors are that Apple will offer the current Watch with the S2 chip (probably accounts for shortages) at a lower price point 🙂apple:Watch 2 at current price point). So why not what and maybe you can get a faster Watch at a lower price?

Nah, I am an early adopter, just called to check out that I am not crazy seeing all of them sold out.

You don't have much to worry about, as Apple will service all AWs whose back cover has separated free of charge for two years from the date of purchase or until June 18, 2017.

Apple has determined that under certain conditions on some Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport devices the back cover may separate from the watch case. Apple will service eligible devices free of charge.

Apple will authorize coverage for two years from the date of purchase or until June 18, 2017.

Me too. It makes me a little nervous, because my wife and I made a deal that I can buy a new strap or bracelet only after I get a new job, and the link bracelet is one of my top choices. I hope I get hired sooner than later, of course, but I'm also hoping to make an event out of "Signing Day" and go shopping before the ink dries.
