According to the Apple website, the watch will feature built-in speakers.

meh - no thanks. don't want to talk to my wrist and if the volume on my watch is loud enough for me to hear it - it's going to disturb everyone around me as well.

I'm not talking about the method used.... plug, attachment....

I'm on about the fact it must be in contact physically, is the issue. To be anything attached/connected to such a device is just not, and never will be, wireless charging, because i think of the term "wireless" as being "no wires what-so-ever/cables" Hence, your free to move about, like like a wireless router..

That is wireless. What's the difference ?

The Apple Watch not necessarily wireless. It does take advantage of inductive charging, however, which is used for Wireless Charging (we do not have the tech for large scale wireless charging. However, the watch has closer range (as seen by the magnetic charging "cable") to charge faster as current wireless charging is pretty slow and wasteful.

A wireless router you still need to plug it into the wall, just saying.

If they can make a water resistance watch why can't they make a water resistant phone or tablet?

I think Apple actually makes money from water damage.

A large part of what makes the watch water resistant is its magnetic charger and lack of ports (like a headset jack).

I wonder how much the Apple Watch is going to cost here in the UK, also will we be able to buy extra straps to swap them around. I like the look of the Apple Watch, it looks so much better than any other smart watch on the market at the moment.
