I've read several reports that AppleWatch deliveries may very well happen before Friday. With Apple removing the April 24th date on the website, anything is possible. I don't think they will be so particular about the delivery date as they have been with previous product launches given all the changes that occurred with the launch of this product and the fact that it won't be available in the store anytime soon. I think early delivery to some might generate some goodwill in fact for Apple.

There is no logic to this if you compare to most product launches that only quote launch day as the delivery. I suppose anything is possible but highly unlikely. If it does happen I doubt it will be for the majority with some people also receiving after Friday in the first wave.

I have been through this preorder process almost a dozen times over the past decade.

There is no goodwill from Apple when it comes to delivery.

The date they promise is the date you get the product.

In this case, it's the earliest date they are promising for most (or all) in the first wave.

See, this is the first time everybody has a window. So how can you be so sure this time?

Because there is a minimal date of the 24th.

That is the launch date, regardless of store availability or not.

If they were going to attempt to get the watch to you a day early, 4/23 would appear as your estimated arrival date.

Tell you what. I am exhausted trying to debate this.

I suppose anything can happen so please take Thursday off work and I will be happy to eat some crow if you get your watch. Good luck.

I have no idea why I rolled my eyes when I read the title. Damn, all you have to do is wait THREE days...THREEEEEEEEEE!

Apple has holds with these carriers so they are all delivered on the 24th at the earliest. Unless you get extremely lucky and it slips through. Apple chat reps seem to have no idea what they are talking about. I had an issue that they were clueless about. Called them and the issue was solved in minutes.

God I feel for Apple Support right now. I know it's their job but they have to have way more patience then I do to put up with the same pointless inquiries over and over again. I'm annoyed and I don't have to deal with it!

Based upon your forum name, you are probably not Beyonce so no watch until at least the 24th. I am sure there will be a few slip ups thru the system like always but more than likely not.

While history tells us not to expect deliveries until the 24th, I am expecting the unexpected. I even went as far as booking an AW workshop for early Friday afternoon!

Dear RICHARD,
Here are the details of your upcoming reservation.
What: Stay in Touch with Apple Watch
When: Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM
Where: Apple Store, Glendale Galleria

I hope to see some of you there!

Is Apple selling them at the store? I can be wrong, but I thought its online only. But good luck. I'm in Century City, not too far from you.

No, you need to bring your watch with you. Go to the "Workshops & Events" section for the store of your choosing and sign up. I know The Grove has a session for 11am on Friday.

Ah, thats what you mean. Was thinking that you are picking it up at the store. Nah, it would just make cry. Still waiting here... patiently.

I too am in the boat of believers that the :apple:WATCH will be delivered to some people before Friday the 24th. If Apple was perceived with any negativity after removing the 4.24.15 launch designation, blogs and news sites wanting to point the finger at newcomer Angela Ahrendts, this could be their way of relieving the delivery carriers from being overburdened and give a way for Apple to wipe out some notion of problems with the launch, save face and obtain that "under-promise, over-deliver" perception. With the front page post on MacRumors that people are starting to get tracking numbers, it's becoming more likely.

Is there any particular reason you're showing up in every single thread trying to buzzkill everyone to death?
