I'm sorry but this article just made me laugh. We are getting Apple product endorsements from fashion models now. Whatever next. Has Apple totally abandoned the tech world for fashion accessories? Apple is fast becoming a "label" just like Nike or Burberry or Gucci. The product quality or technical expertise takes second place to the design and desirability of the label.

It's a business. They don't just spend a big chunk of dollars developing a product solely for the tech world. Ask yourself why Apple are so successful? They cater everyone. They don't just bump the specs to wow the tech world, (look how many of you "disappointed" at how Apple didn't give you the specs you wanted for your lovely device?) they improved their products using the thinking on how their products help improve the end user's life in general. Example: The camera on the iPhone 6 has the same megapixels, but all the changes are the lenses and sensors (which is the unsung heroes in crediting for good pictures, do normal people talk about lenses and sensors on a phone camera or do they just care about the megapixels? *looking at Nokia ads*) and honestly, I love the new camera on the 6. How much money do you think they will make if they don't push the "fashion aspect" into the :apple: Watch?

And what's wrong with labels? It's a business and labels sell. You expect them to open a label-less business and just stand there waiting for the company to go bankrupt? Yea like that is printed BOLD, Times New Roman size 72 somewhere in business books. Oh by the way, I stand behind the quality product quality of those "labels" you mentioned. They do know their crafts I assure you.

KPOM: YES YES YES
Apple doesn't directly compete in spec wars. They never have. But that doesn't mean they aren't concerned about specifications. It means they are focused on the specs that matter for the end user experience.
