Apple Watch Ultra orders are beginning to arrive to customers around the world. For customers who forgot to pre-order an Apple Watch Ultra or simply decided to wait, many configurations are now estimated for delivery in 3-4 weeks, but the good news is that same-day or next-day pickup is now available at select Apple Store locations.

A quick spot check of Apple's online store reveals that many Apple Watch Ultra models with the Alpine Loop or Ocean Band are available for in-store pickup today in countries such as the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., but Trail Loop models are much harder to find. In-store availability will likely deplete quickly as the day goes on.

To order a product with Apple Store pickup, add the product to your bag on Apple.com or in the Apple Store app, proceed to checkout, select the "I'll pick it up" option, enter your ZIP or postal code, choose an available Apple Store location, select a pickup date, and select a 15-minute check-in window. Payment is completed online, and a valid government-issued photo ID and the order number may be required upon pickup.

A few Apple Watch Ultra models may also be available for walk-in customers at Apple Store locations with enough inventory, but your mileage may vary. Walk-in customers may be placed into a separate queue with lower priority upon arrival to the store.

The second-generation AirPods Pro are also available for Apple Store pickup starting today.

Strangely enough, my pre-order didn't give me the option to do in-store pickup, even though I live next door to one haha! Arriving today.

I figured they would be available in store. Getting mine delivered within two hours from the store with the midnight ocean band. Too bad the black or any color trail loops aren’t available.

In store pickup is only available on launch day for some products. 2nd gen APP’s and this included.

A couple things make me feel like supply won't be a problem for this product.

1.) It's a high end niche product
2.) There's only one sku for the watch itself.

The orange trail loop is the one to go with. Makes sense it’s not available.

Wanted the Trail Loop, but it's not available anywhere where I live. Don't think the Trail Loops were available today. The others are available.

This is the one I got, in orange. But I just checked again and they’re now listed as sold out at my local store.
Disregard, I got the ALPINE loop. There were no trail loops at my local store either.

After years of resisting I decided to get an Apple Watch. I’ve had a Garmin for a while and really liked the 2-3 week battery life but I’d rather not take my phone when I go running. Ordered a Watch 8 with cellular this morning and then saw this. Looks like there’s decent availability for these in DC so I switched my order to an Ultra. Primarily I just want the longer battery life and I like the fact it is more durable. Yes, is is $274 more than the Watch 8 cellular but battery life is pretty important to me. I just wish there were more band choices.
