I think you mean Alpine loopThe orange trail loop is the one to go with. Makes sense it’s not available.

As I and others have mentioned in other threads, those are the only bands that were listed as available today anyway. The trail loops were all October delivery estimates.Plenty of in-store availability today in Florida.

I know I’m already sick of hearing about it.
I wouldn't have it even if Apple sent me one for free. It's by far one of the ugliest Apple products ever.
I just wish there were more band choices.
You know you can try them on in store...I ordered one just to try it and see how the sizing is, probably or actually most likely will return it.
Yeah I just cannot justify another $800 (especially after upgrading to my new 14 ProMax LOL which I did want). My AW 7 does me just fine. I am not an athlete (am 72) or super outdoor hiker, climber, or diver so what would I need it for? Niche product it seems in my needs. UPDATE: But as someone correctly stated I cannot generalize for all just more my age group that is not into level of activity in most cases.Even if I wanted one, which I don’t, after last week it might be wise to wait for the initial inevitable bugs before rushing in. Just saying.
9 articles on the home page exclusively on the watch may create some interest though. I think it'll be a bit like the SS watches but easier to tell when someone has it. What I think will be niche is the number of people who use the additional features. I think this will be mainly a fashion accessory for many. This is going to be a very niche product.
Not everyone live in areas where store is just 30min walk away or 10min drive away you know. -_-You know you can try them on in store...
Yeah would like the battery life that it gets but most of the other features are not for me my AW 7 does all I need for exercise tracking (walking in my case at 72 years old LOL)After years of resisting I decided to get an Apple Watch. I’ve had a Garmin for a while and really liked the 2-3 week battery life but I’d rather not take my phone when I go running. Ordered a Watch 8 with cellular this morning and then saw this. Looks like there’s decent availability for these in DC so I switched my order to an Ultra. Primarily I just want the longer battery life and I like the fact it is more durable. Yes, is is $274 more than the Watch 8 cellular but battery life is pretty important to me. I just wish there were more band choices.
Doesn't justify ordering one simply to try it on when you know you have no intention of keeping it.Not everyone live in areas where store is just 30min walk away or 10min drive away you know. -_-
Same could said about iPads, or AirPods Max etc.at $750, you need to be sure you actually want/need this. I checked and every single store in my area has them available.
For folks that were paying for the SS or titanium version already, the price I don't think was an issue, this looked like a value compared.at $750, you need to be sure you actually want/need this. I checked and every single store in my area has them available.
I get why this watch is an attractive upgrade - unsure why people with first gen AirPod Pros would feel they need to upgrade.Same could said about iPads, or AirPods Max etc.
No offense intended, but you appear to be in a different, perhaps narrower niche demographic than the one to which this is targeted.Yeah I just cannot justify another $800 (especially after upgrading to my new 14 ProMax LOL which I did want). My AW 7 does me just fine. I am not an athlete (am 72) or super outdoor hiker, climber, or diver so what would I need it for? Niche product it seem
Didn’t realize that, thanks!!All 42mm and up bands fit it
The orange isn’t the trail loop?I think you mean Alpine loop
at least you can use any 44mm/45mm apple watch band with it which is kind of niceAfter years of resisting I decided to get an Apple Watch. I’ve had a Garmin for a while and really liked the 2-3 week battery life but I’d rather not take my phone when I go running. Ordered a Watch 8 with cellular this morning and then saw this. 72 yrs old. It’s not for your targeted age group. Of course you see it as a niche product and that’s fine but you can’t make a general statement for an entire groupYeah I just cannot justify another $800 (especially after upgrading to my new 14 ProMax LOL which I did want). My AW 7 does me just fine. I am not an athlete (am 72) or super outdoor hiker, climber, or diver so what would I need it for? Niche product it seem
I am upgrading. Had the AirPods Pro since launch and it’s almost 3 years old. The battery has degraded quite a bit. You’re right the upgrade is modest, but when you add it all up it’s worth it for me.I get why this watch is an attractive upgrade - unsure why people with first gen AirPod Pros would feel they need to upgrade.
I think the AirPros 2 is a solid upgrade.I get why this watch is an attractive upgrade - unsure why people with first gen AirPod Pros would feel they need to upgrade.
