Hello and greetings to all from Montenegro.
I own Apple Watch Ultra for a less than a month.
I love it.
But i have one question that i dont know how to explain , but i will try best that i can.
I have thin screen protector film on a watch , just to protect it from minor scrathes , and i have spigen RUGGED ARMOR case.
Everything works great until one day , i placed watched on charger , SPIGEN NIGHT STAND , and when watch is on charging and i try to unlock my watch , sometimes i enter code right away , and sometimes I am typing a code but watch keeps deliting it like I am pressing delete button , and I dont do that.
Sometimes it types code normaly ????
When i remove it from charger , it acts normaly.
Exepct when its raining , then watch goes a little crazy , but as soon as I wipe screen it goes back to normal.
What is this?
Is this normal?
I didnt had that on my series 6

Try taking off the protective case and charging. Could be that the protector is affecting your watch performance- if it still doesn’t work call Apple tech support - they can run tests on your watch.

I have tryed to take of the case , same thing.
When i removed protective film , that issue went away.
But I dont get it.
What is the problem whit thin protective film….
I went to Apple they run diagnose of some kind , and they dodnt find nothing.

there is your answer - the screen protector.
I have no idea what is available in Montenegro but maybe check this thread out for recommendations:
screen protectors - naysayers stay out

The Ultra has a sapphire crystal that is purportedly extremely resistant to scratching. Everyone has their own tolerance for risk, but I'd ditch the screen protector altogether.

Greetings from Montenegro.
I dont know do I have an issue , but that is why I have all of you.
I have apple watch ultra for a month now , and i like it , but I have this thing happening , and dont know is it normal.
If my screen gets wet ,i do wear screen protector , watch is working until that is dry , and gets smuged a bit , and then it starts acting wierd like I am pressing stuff and I aint.
When i wipe screen clean , it works again.
When I try replicate this on series 6 I cant , series 6 works no matter what the smudge is , but Ultra Screen gets stucked for a minute and then works again.
When I tryed this at demo vwrsion , it also get stucked if smuged.
Anyone?
Ps.
I will post video later

I think you posted this in another thread already - does this issue occur without screen protector?

Possibly . But again, one in the shop , demo had no screen protector

Somewhat normal. Could be exacerbated by the screen protector, but that's what the water lock is for.

Sounds like water (or at least moisture) is getting underneath the screen cover.

May I suggest?

Ditch the cover. It’s assuredly not actually protecting the watch.

No cover is going to protect the display. And, should you manage to damage the display (which would happen with or without a cover), the damaged watch will be the least of your worries as you adjust to your new life as an amputee.

Just so you guys can see this

I anit sending a thing?

How to send a video?

Watch that ,I input digit , and he delete it

And now this ….
When i raise it from charger , it works flawlesly

I was missing a code becaus recording with one hand

Again, ditch the screen cover. It’s the source of your problems. And it’s not protecting anything.

Have you read the MacRumors article I linked and watched the video there?

If its a defect , why it doesnt delete code when placed verticaly?

Now watch video.
First it wont accepd the code , and then , when I flip the watch it accept it at once

You are using a 3rd party charger? What happens if you use the Apple charging puck and power supply?

No , I always use original charger and cable , and trust me i have tryed couple of them

If i lay down watch , connect it to cable but not to power , it types correctly.
Only when charging and laying , it keeps messing things.
I have tryed reset.
I have tryed almost all.
Wrist detection of , and so on.
All the same

On my series 6 I dont have an issue , but on ULTRA , i do.
I dont know is this a defect , or its normal or what but if there is anyone with ULTRA try this and let me know
