No. If the price delta was (still) so high, Apple quite simply wouldn‘t release a Watch with micro LED at all. So either the rumour is wrong or your calculation of the price delta (in 2024) is wrong.

well I am more inclined that it wont be released, cheapest micro-led tv now costs 80 000$+ and cheapest oled tv like 900$, so unless Apple unveils some miracle manufacturing process that they have kept under covers for years, no micro-led AW

Sadly, I‘m inclined to agree. 2024 seems early, but who knows – maybe Apple can pull it off. 🤞

My iWatch Ultra is slightly larger than my 1966 Rolex Oyster Pepsi colored, two time zone, self-winding, date showing watch and is heavier. I paid $375 for the Rolex when new and it is worth over $3,500 today. The nearly $800 Ultra will be worth maybe a couple of hundred dollars trade in value next year when Apple releases the next generation Ultra.

When we go to the UK for a family funeral late this month, the Ultra looses it's appeal as it won't be fully functional in a non Verizion environment. Never had any location problems with the Rolex.

It´s absurd comparation. Seen a lot like those.
