Apple Weather App Experiencing Issues

Apple gets the data from a 3rd party, which is down, Apple can't do anything about that.

Wait I thought Apple has its own weather sources. It claims to be its own source. I know in the past it was “powered by the Weather Channel” but now it’s Apple Weather.

The new weather stuff was great at first. Now its crap. When you click on the Precipitation window it take 8 years to load now.

Ha thanks for googling that for me. Seems it still is TWC in the United States. Which looking at the list is kind of funny, almost all the others seem to be government run. But ours is run by a tv channel. That’s very American.

Makes me wonder what the point was in buying Dark Sky. I thought they got first party weather data as part of the deal.

This happens to me all the time for multiple locations around the world. I don't know how or why this app is so unreliable.

System overloaded with too many three digit temperatures in the US.

The weather app has been consistently OFF by 7-8 degrees in my area of southern Calif. for a long time now. It's just soooo bad.
