At least in my location, the weather app is usually wrong.

Apple Weather is so bad that it might actually be better off that way.

It takes forever to initially load. Better to kill the process and reopen and then it loads quickly. I believe this is a bug.

Strangely the app works perfectly for me, usually it’s a bit slow to load the data.

It’s a big I believe. Just kill the initial loading of the app and the second attempt loads immediately.

I mainly use the National Weather Service webpage, AccuWeather webpage, weather Channel web page, and my local weather people is on X (web, not the app). I have them all saved in a tab group in Safari. The use of plug-ins makes it ad free experience.

I didn't realize this was a new issue since it has been doing this for a couple of months now for me. always have good signal but it fails to load randomly.

Will they ever improve the accuracy? I s'pose it being in the ballpark would be a nice start.

Never went down for me. Where I live, Apple weather is more accurate than the alternatives.

I feel like I've been in areas of good service and despite that, the weather app has sometimes just been taking FOREVER to load every now and then despite that

It’s working for me but Macrumors has not. Constantly getting page not loading. Phone rebooted and in house right next to router.

Nope. Never heard of it. Using myradar (provides some satellite and all the NWS watches and warnings I want), lightning pro and accuweather for basic current data. I find the individual apps work better.

I had issues too.

It open fine but not load any data.

Checked the system status page and it said it was green and working normally.

In the end I did a forced restart of my phone and that cleared the issue.
