Yeah, that is crazy.

Especially when part of the unique functionality is crowd sourcing weather info. You'd think you'd need as many participants as possible to make that worthwhile at all.

It has a 2-week free trial. But it's still $5 more than Carrot Premium for less features, a bad name, and an ugly icon. The widgets look nice enough, but Carrot still has this beat. Just not enough to justify $25. And one of the main features is community forecasts, but it needs a free tier for that to reach any level of useful saturation.

I love the design of the Weather app but how can anyone take a forecast like this seriously? It was showing this weird ass forecast last night too. Force quitting the app makes no difference. This is the batsh*t craziest forecast I ever saw.

Today’s weather shows a 30% chance of showers in the 10-day forecast highlight summary, but then if you look at the by hour details, there’s only one indication of rain for today at 8 PM and it’s 10%. How does 10% chance for rain at 8 pm translate to 30% for the day?

I can understand a little when it’s wrong when predicting weather as the weather can change drastically without notice. However, when it reports info after the fact that is so wrong it makes you wonder.

Last night the Apple weather app reported that we got 2.2 inches of snow yesterday at my location. I went out in the yard and measured. We got 9 inches of snow lol.
Recently, the app deleted the ability to report corrections to current conditions. At the moment, it shows cloudy skies at my house, but it's actually mostly sunny and in the past I would have sent in the report.

The ability to report an issue is still there: hamburger bottom right — 3 dots top right— report an issue!
