Let's hope they have a few live bands to perform on stage for the keynote...would be pretty cool and maybe steve jobs doing a beatles cover for a few good laughs. Anyhow I can't wait and i'll be sitting here till monday with soiled under pants waiting for the big unveiling....quality nice! I don't drink beer but a cold pepsi and a bag of doritos and chilli dip sounds great...better get some mac owning mates around so we can all rejoice together!!!
Forgive me for asking, but how can you live in England and not drink beer?...

Beats me.

i reckon it'd be iAle. apple's going for that market and all. and those of us who know better would complain how apple needs a wider variety of independant and god forbid "unlabeled" beer.

I don't understand why Apple is do not broadcast it via the Internet. Here in Holland more than 95% of the peaple have a cable and don't have a sattelite an if the have one the configuration is not good.

its actually spelt guinness, and i'll be having some while i sit back and watch the show.
maybe if they have a band or two then at the end of the show they will have a big karaoke competition. :D
that would certainly be music to someones ears.

I hope that there is a web-cast, so I can watch it too.

Oh dern, I just realized that I'm going to be meeting with my lawyer at 10. What crumby timing. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to check Apple.com, and MacRumors when I get done to see what my birthday present from Apple is.

For me the big question is: Will the music service be available in Europe, too?
My feeling is that it will be US/Canada only.

Did anybody hear something about that?

i'M tired and can't think of any better ones.... We need some new rumors.

i Want new style iPods - like the sony minidiscs - red, blue, funky, shiny buttons all over the place. Compared to those minidiscs the current iPods look like surgical tools, anti-septic, clinical. Great, but funky would be nice as well. Any thoughts?

Who can receive the broadcast? (Earn 100 $)

Hi,
I'm from germany and responsible for a mac-magazine. In europe there is no satelite broadcast for the special presentation. You could earn HUNDRED DOLLARS if YOU help us to offer an audio broadcast via Quicktime stream.

We're trying to find someone who could hold a telephone, or a microfone or even a DV-Cam in front of a TV, so that the signal can be transferred to europe. We pay for everything. We would pay an additional fee of hundred dollars for the lucky person who helped us.

Having Steve Jobs presenting something crazy and not having the chance to receive the broadcast would be horrible, so maybe YOU could help us. If that is the case, mail to joerndyck@mac.com

I know this is a bit strange.

Thank you,

Joern

They won't advertise it until it's all been setup. Also, the same could be said for the Satellite feed - which i believe was posted on apple.com/pr but then removed. There's actually nothing (that i could find) on Apple's web site about the Monday 28th event anyway.

I personally think they're leaving it all a bit late (ie live feeds), but better late than never :)

James.

Yeah, that's what I think too.

Btw, this is my first post. Hello everyone! I look forward to posting and meeting new people. :D

God, if you're listening, please let them do a stream of this event!

I don't have class from noon to 2pm CT, so It's the perfect window to watch the event.

Come on, Steve! We all know you read the rumor sites, so take our pleas into consideration.

Apple Webcast stream

After talking to an Apple consultant, it appears the event will be available on stream by demand after the announcement. So get your browsers ready to download...sounds like this is going to be big!
